My mate does things SIMILAR to this except now they will come over and pick up a pup and then start dropping it and then picking it back up over and over until it dies... I call that the "Drop Torture" but they also go on hunts with me and fight till very very low health and then just run away and not come back until I kill the elk...
Really cute... On wolfquest, my mate Silver will take off running, go as far as she can until she hits a border, then keeps running in place, and there's no way to get her back!!!
Or she hunts with me until her health is too low, and then instead of finding a carcass, she waits until I finish and then doesn't eat until I howl. xD
