I love Stefan and Elena so much and Paul is an amazing actor and he's just perfection BUT I've always loved Damon and Elena more. From the very start I've wanted them two together and from the start I've always had a bigger soft spot for Ian. Season three has made me want Damon and Elena together even more but then there are little moments when Stefans humanity shows and I just really miss the Stefan he was in season one and two. I'l always be team Delena though. TVD is the best!

Honestly, when i watched the show first, i thought, too, they just sharing a simply teenage love.. but when all the trouble started, i realized, that's not a teenage love at all.. and i admit, Damon and Elena's build up relationship is really mature and solid, but still, Damon act's sometimes like a little kid, too.. you can't deny it.. and yeah, this quote is really true, but i think it doesn't fit in this love triangle, cause this is really different with all the trouble!

The more I watch the show, the more I feel Elena and Stefan's love is a teenage one: not saying they don't love each other but they do it like 15 years old. They don't really know each other... Elena and Damon is building in a more adult way and it seems more solid to me in the long run. Anyways, I'm team "Whoever ends up with Damon should chose him over Stefan in a public way for once!"

See the resemblance?
