  • A, and i don't find anything gay in the show itself or in the video installations. But if you wanna view it that way, then it's just a matter of personal choice. As much as one or another artist may be gay or not, their creations often surpass their author's sexual orientation. Even though i understand Julien Isaac made pieces concerning (his) gay identity as well. But that's irrelevant in this case.

  • Pitty Julien Isaac's video installations are so difficult to find. I have seen Cast no shaddow, and also separatly the first two videos: True North and Fantome Afrique. They are stand alone gallery pieces. True North i found to have a deep personal vibration as casts various forms of water into a story about the self and discovery of yourself. At least that's what i made of it :). Was once more fascinated with ice light after that, and lured me onto my first trip beyond the polar circle.
