  • Awesome, dropped him like a bad smell!

  • Now test it on hippies lol

  • me like bacon

  • Still can get gun licence in Australia just no semi automatic or full auto rifles just bolt action. Pisol licence is a bit difficult to get hold though.... Nice hit!!

  • do you orgasm when you do that?

  • DRT. I wonder what a Speer TNT would do to a pig in the .375 Ruger cartridge. You think it'd explode?

  • @ntrudr800 tnts, only go as high as the 30 caliber, barnes X bullet 235 grain is probably your best runner up for some shit.

  • well placed shot with that caliber and at that distance, holy c$#@ ! instant death. awesome hunt 5stars.

  • i thought all fire arms are banned in Australia, or is it banned in England?

  • knocked the dust off it.

  • Great video. Thanks. It was amazing to see the energy absorbed by the shot.

  • NICE SHOT, OLD!!

WHAT WEAPON, AND DISTANCE THE TARGET?

  • great footage, I cant say enough about Accubonds I only use Them!!!

  • 22 hornet on a big AUSTRALIAN PIG ??? YOU're FUCKIN KIDDIN . Isaw a 22 bounce off the hide of a big Aussie pig . You couldnt even get you lips round the thickness of my BIG THICK AUSSIE COCK .

  • Great shot. How do you like that rifle (recoil and accuracy)? Looking at getting one soon. Thanks.

  • @NCHunter79 Its extremely and between the 4 I know they all shoot sub MOA which I found extremely suprising for a large cal like this. Recoil off the bench is firm which is to be expected but very mild in the field.

  • @mickgibbo Thanks. I think you made my mind up for me. Sub MOA on a cal like that is....well, just great. Looking forward to testing it out on what we have up here in US. Great vid. Keep on brother...

  • Good shot....and....better too much than too less power!

(To all that guys who say it`s overkill)

  • Lol the old story ive shot a charging dump truck with a air rifle lol all i can say to that is THERE IS NO KILL LIKE OVER KILL ps nice shootin mate

  • A 243 Win with a 100g bullet would have worked well too BUT so what. If a bloke wants to use a 375 all the power to him. It looks like it did a fine job!!

  • @FullBloodedHmoob you're obviously a brag, arse of a hunter if you think shooting pigs with any .22 is ok. If you were a anywhere near decent hunter you'd never even suggest shooting wild hog with a .22. yeah, a .375 is prob overkill on this particular hog but its always better to overkill then underkill and leave an wounded, angry hog in the bush. It is also illegal to hunt dear in oz with any .22. Go back to bragging to your mates.

  • @FullBloodedHmoob Another point that was not covered in your question is that pigs need to really be slamed with some nasty caliber guns cuz they are tougher than you think. They keep coming if you piss them off then its up to you to make one hell of a good shot to stop them if you dont have a huge ass gun...

  • nice shot brother,hog are a minace

  • @375Improved thats funny as hell dude, nail on the head with that one

  • @FullBloodedHmoob well maybe because most wild hogs weight 200 pounds. IT is illegal to kill a deer with a 22 it has to be a 23 and biger

  • @MrBobsrevenge not in GA.22 centerfire is good.22-250 works fine 223 if very close,for kids. i like a 450 marlin

  • is the minimum for deer in Vic .270

  • the nice thing about a 375 of any large magnum caliber you tend not to wound anything. I like for my game to drop where i shoot them

  • the nice thing about a 375 of any large magnum caliber you tend not to would anything. I like for my game to drop where i shoot them

  • @FullBloodedHmoob bahahahahahaha fail.

  • Nice vid, you can actually see the impact! =D

  • @FullBloodedHmoob If your trying to kill something you can never have too much gun. I been chased by a pig and put 4 12G rounds into it. I ended up getting on the Quad and running because it keps coming. Went out the next day and found it a good 6-700meters from where I shot it. It also left a pretty hefty blood trail.

  • thats how you drop em. pigs can be tough animals to dispatch, just look at all the hunting videos out. 375 Ruger is excellent choice for the varmints. Nice shot

  • @FullBloodedHmoob Why dont you post a few of your hunts up....Let me guess your hunting is done from the arm chair just knocking people. Get out and have a hunt mate you will soon realise you have no idea about cal selection.

  • @mickgibbo A .375 is a tad overkill. Then again, it is certainly more appropriate than his .22 magnum, which might be considered cruelty on boar (weighing up to 250 lb).

  • @mickgibbo you're obviously a brag, arse of a hunter if you think shooting pigs with any .22 is ok, so don't go calling other people out for not having hunt vidoes up.

  • @FullBloodedHmoob Yeah we all know your story, you shot one with a .22 once from 300m and stoned it, you are the champ I hope I get to shake your hand one day, bet you have a big tool as well :-). Reason it got shot with a .375 was it was in my hand and guess what it worked a hell of a lot better that a .22 would. Let me guess you have blown the jaw off 100 animals as well trying to be the king of the .22. Its blokes like you that lead to a lot of animals being wounded. Pig was well over 40lbs.

  • @mickgibbo Classic! Well done...

  • @mickgibbo There's a big difference between .22lr and .22 mag.

  • @mickgibbo was that someones tame farm animal or something? it looked like he was 15 yards away. i have never seen or heard of a wild animal that lets you get within 80 yards of them. or mabey their sight hearing and smell was disabled. lol

  • @amyhuk Welcome to the 21st century its called optical zoom and stalking with the wind in your face. Every animal I chase is 100% free range, wild and free. How do you think bow hunters get any animal based on your theory?

  • @mickgibbo bow hunters are in the trees. most rumenants cant look up

  • @amyhuk Ok you show a clear understanding about what you are talking about........NOT you are an idiot with zero idea.

  • hahahah good shoot!!

  • Head shots with no rest at that distance are too risky for the animal, secondly most Aussies don't touch wild boar meat as it's tuff and tastes like old boots. I take high shoulder shots on most animals as it's quick, humane and the meat loss is marginal. My freezer is full of venison and I don't get runners.

Each to their own I suppose but I can't agree with anyone that thinks that aminal didn't go down instantly.

  • the shot dude...the shot was a touch HIGH wtf

  • Actually I take that back after looking it up other than being a touch high that was a lung shot /spine for a pig so I was wrong.

  • lol 1,337'th view wtf?

  • iron sights suck, stick with the optics

  • Awsome video. Awsome quality. Shame you didnt take him with iron sights

  • Do people still use Iron sights? :-)

  • i use iron sights on my .270 win

i wish i could have them on my mossberg .17 hmr but they dont come with em.

  • No offense but a .375 H and H short range and you hit him in the shoulder? Explains the thrashing for a good bit after...I know people shoot just behind the shoulder to hit the heart but other than putting them on the ground they are still alive and suffering I was just raised differently I guess he didn't suffer too long with that high of a caliber.

  • i agree it wasnt the best of shots but honestly man i think those were just nervs twichin that piggy went by by

  • That pig was dead before he turned over, the high shoulder shot is a far better killing shot as it takes out heart lung and spine which equals an instant kill. Head shots are not as humane as many animals run away with their jaws hanging off. Liam please tell me where would have been a better shot from your depth of experience.

  • @mickgibbo agreed that thing was dead so quick it didnt even know what happened but head shots are so much fun and u dont loose any meat which may be a problem shooting a piggy with a .375 H&H did u loose both front quarters?

  • Great vid mate!
