thank you so much. i really appreciate everything you said :). the fact that you've been a musician for quite some time will make it easy for you to establish a solid practice regiment, everything you're doing sounds spot on. the only advice i can give is to ALWAYS be inspired... no matter what... don't get bogged down to one stylistic idea. if you're excited to play guitar and practice, and you have reasonable musical intuition, there is no reason for you not to be great. good luck!

i love this song!! i'm not familiar w.the late John martyn, only know some of his songs. i learned about him on a compilation album frm england.. he did a Portishead cover "Glory Box", and he made it AMAZING!! Sorry it should be D - G - D - G - B - D and then you set the capo tasto to the 4th fret, isn't it?
