Option 4: The Christians modified their story to sound like the story of the god Horus to convert the followers of Horus in Egypt, who rose from the dead before there was any "Jesus"
Option 5: The Christians saw the popularity of "Mithra" who died and was rose 3 days later all of which happened way before "Jesus" Not to be outdone by "Mithra" they said "Jesus" did the same thing.
1) Horus was the Sun-God. The Sun reaches its lowest point in the sky on 22nd December (ish) and then comes up again about three days later on 25th December. Are you trying to imply that the disciples confused the man they knew with the Sun?
2) Most of the sources for the stories of Mithras date from after the sources for Jesus.
3) The most important point, these stories on Horus and Mithras only work if the story of the resurrection of Jesus evolved over time. But scholars are clear on the point that the resurrection of Jesus was first proclaimed within years of the death of the Jesus (at the very latest).
It is historical fact (confirmed by Christian and Jewish sources) that the tomb was empty. Something definately happened
