I love my kenwood, for better sound throw it in a bandpass sub box, and automotive rtx silicone will withstand any flexing and vibrations, but nice vid none the less.
first off kicker vs. kenwood is a personal preferance . i got two of these kenwood 12's on the same amp and my buddy gots 2 kicker cvrs and my shit beats harder than his , and i got 2 more in the closet waiting on the second amp . its all in how theyre wired ,amp/watts(rms) and the box .
to help you out tho' ,have you tried silicone or some kind of high tensil strength adhesive . other than that idk , just get it replaced , i found a buy 1 get 1 free deal at sonicelectronix , thats 2 for 120
@coldie5445 i have 2 12'' kicker cvr's and i personally think that the cvrs are better than the kenwoods. and plus you can get 2 12'' kicker cvr's for $170 and just one kenwood would cost you $120. again, just a person opinion
@coldie5445 yeah id suggest lowering well, obviously everything besides the volume if not get 2 new one's for sure hommie but if you can't now just well seal it with bathroom seal couck i cant spell it but u klol i hope lol
@yungwuake254 yaaaa i have fixed my p2 12" and the bitch is still bangin hard fosgate P model cones garbage i fixed it with GOOP MARINE posted a video what it look like after
Hey. bro i have 2 Kenwood 12" KFC-W3011 when i was moving them around i actualy hit 1 and made a crack kinda like how urs is to fix it i put some glue from a hot glue gun and now it works pefect like if crack never happened just tryin to give u a lil tip see if it will work if u wanna check them out later on ima post a vid of them
Don't use epoxy to fix it. use polyvinyl acetate. Its a very light weight and very strong glue, when my sub split its what i used to fix it and it held it together for 8 months until i got a new sub
I'd say to use epoxy. The amount of weight it would take to really mess up the woofer and sound quality would be a lot more than a thin strip of epoxy would weigh. That there though is the dust cover to keep your cone clean. If you look under the woofer from the side you'll see the cone, black and shiny. That's the portion that takes most of the stress.
what is the name of the song??
