How the hell do these guys have 250 APM at the beginning of the game? why do these so called 'pros' click their mouse so many times for no reason, (just to get their APM up) True skill is reflected in balancing the least amount of APM with the maximum amount of effectiveness

@Qryzti Indeed, it's to keep their hands warmed up. In other words, it's to keep rhythm for when things get complex. I find it amusing that you're referring to them that way -and- aren't even trying to find reason in their actions, but rather are degrading them with a lecture everyone knows. Don't forget, they've been coached for Starcraft; try not to look down on them just because you don't agree with some things. Besides, it's fun clicking a bunch of times. :D

They have to keep their hands warm, its like jogging of a sort(if you ever ran), you have to keep the same pace to avoid slowing down or speeding up, (acceleration and deceleration takes up wayy more energy than keeping up a pace).

If you really want to prove such a point become a pro with low APM(doesn't exist), then maybe the ur ratio will be the new standard, but i have doubts.

@Qryzti well it means u are still a noob.. they are not spaming, they are maintaining the speed of their micros. APM its like a rhythm meter for pros. For good players, they maintain their apm stable during and off battle, that way u will have a lesser idle time and speed up the action time.

So food/lodging is free, and they play video games all day against each other. However, they do have to maintain a positive record, or else they're out of a home/job. It lags a little bit if I put everything on low, but shaders to medium.
