I have to say that I believe with my whole heart God wants NOT to honor Christmas as there's no way Christ was born in the winter time, and as you pointed out, the date is chosen from paganism/satanism. There is no lie in Jesus, and the winter date is a lie. Also, he would not have us honor Easter, but the Passover celebration...He would also have us honor the Sabbath on the 7th day, as he says twice in the 4th commandment. For the first 300+ years of Christianity, there was great persecution to the Church, and still Christianity spread from just 12 disciples to thousands of people in a very wide territory. I'm going to be an advocate for the Catholic Church regarding our Saints. First of Catholics don't pray to Saints, we ask for our Saints intersession on our behalf to our Father. To help illustrate this to non-catholics think of it as in you and your family growing up. You may need or want something from your Father and you would petition your Mother to advocate on your behalf or have your brother/sister stand with you for support and courage to face your parents. The Sabbaths (including feasts) are rehearsals for Divine Encounters. For 100's of years, Israelites kept Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, & Pentecost so that when Messiah came & fulfilled the ancient customs, there could be no excuse. Jesus shall return to fulfill Trumpets, Yom Kippur, & Tabernacles. There've been 6,000 years or 6 millennial days since Adam. 1 Peter 3:8

The 7th day / Millennial Reign is the Great Sabbath when the devil is bound & we can rest. Rev 20:2-3

@OKandNOWwhat Right but the debate is not whether Gods appointed feasts etc. still have purpose. The debate is whether Christians are bound to keep all the feasts and Sabbath days to the "letter" as the Jews once did. From what I have studied in the gospel clearly says that ALL of the old covenant was done away with. Now many will argue that it was only the daily sacrifices that were abolished. So how many SEPARATE and UNRELATED covenants did God make with Israel? Which one is done away with?

@Suge212 Obedience is better than sacrifice. His Sabbath & Feasts are part of His moral law & aren't void. That being said, the Israelites kept His Feasts unto their false gods(Amos 5) & Aaron tried to make the calf a rep. of Yahweh (Ex:32:5), exactly what this video is instructing us to do with pagan holidays. What's His reaction to their syncretism? Knowing the truth re:these holiday's pagan roots, will u be able to look Jesus in the eye & tell Him why you disobyd His comnd 2 be holy?

The Sabbath keeping is no longer a law, that is undisputed in Romans 13, however it is fine to put a day aside, I don;t think it matters which day or that it even has to be the same day all the time

Sabbath was, is and always will be Saturday. Full stop. There should be no such thing as Christian Sabbath or Jewish Sabbath. It's one of the Ten Commandments.

Jesus su died for our sins as the ultimate sacrifice, not for the law. He fulfilled it with that act and by raising the standards of the moral behavior. And get rid of the Pharisaic law, the rabbinical law, and the scribic law. As KJ Bibles do not differ, study how God's law is truly fulfilled. Paul had already instructed the churches in Rome that any particular day they chose to assemble was their liberty to do so, as unto the Lord. Apparently, the Jewish sabbath was still a dominant day to assemble, though Jersualem had been destroyed hundreds of year before Constantine.

@esgatch That matches with what I found recently. So here's a question I'm not sure I have the answer to yet...is there such a thing as a single weekly Sabbath day for the Christian anymore? The early church seemed to meet all through the week...

For the gentile church I don't think so, but the messianic assemblies meet on what they would consider the sabbath day... but i wonder if it's the original sabbath day, if in fact it could be accurately traced back to the ancient calendars...but, I do believe the sabbath day will be observed in the millenial reign of Messiah on earth..

@TheFuelProject I think the answer to that question is..Yes. Jesus knew his followers would be keeping the sabbath and warned them to "pray that your flight be not on the sabbath day". This prophetic message concerned the destruction of Jerusalem that was to happen 40 years later and dispells the notion of a change to the sun-day of Rome or that the 10 Commandments ended at the cross. Revelation specifically indentifies the saved as "Those the keep the Commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
