  • 6 thousand of these views are most likely my own

  • No many can entertain an audience with just a guitar and his unique voice like Neil Young , you ought to stay in silence and listen at this charismatic man .

  • love u dude

  • what a voice, effortless

  • Sheer talent.

  • he wrote a song for a man he did't knew ...love this man.

  • I feel like Neil Young when my hair is straigtened. I hate when my hairs straight.

  • @zebra1067 cool story bro

  • one of the best songs of all time

  • Take a Look @ MY life <-------

    you'll SUB...

  • Well i hope neil young will remember....a southern man don't need him around any how...

  • legend...

  • amazing

  • LOVE LOVE NEIL YOUNG!!!

  • I think this man has it all: a wonderful heart, soul, voice, talent, songwriting ability, and an acoustic guitar!

  • @michellemariesuan haha okay yeah that's the movie and thanks:)

  • Im tripping

  • what no pitch correction?!?!1

  • Wasn't this song in a movie with Robert Downey Jr and Jonah Hill?

  • @Chiquita79ST That was in the movie Due Date - and it was with Zach Galifianakis... :P

  • I wonder how many people in that audience had no clue they were watching musical art at it's finest?

  • song reminds me of my pop and grandpa ;c

  • Neil Fucking Young.. this guy is my hero, glad he did so much for music and so much for humanity! Keep on rockin' in the free world children!!!

  • it's good to see people enjoying the performance in silence, these days you have dickheads clapping out of time, yelling shit out and holding up iphones to record rather than experience.

  • @redlit Funny because those dickheads parents were at this concert and taught their kids those rude things. Music is Music, people respect it just as much now as ever. there's no purpose in being bitter and insulting an entire generation because they choose to experience emotion differently than you. This is one of the first songs my dad taught me on guitar and I will always hold it in a special place :)

  • @munnsack dude preach is my brother

  • @redlit Have you noticed the quality of music now is directly related to the people listening to it? I had the unfortunate experience of attending a dubstep show in Hollywood, amidst a rather angry crowd of moshing kids, all the while listening to "all these bitches wanna lick my ice cream" -___-

The worlds going to shit. (this is coming from a 23 year old btw)

  • @redlit totally. Pisses me of everytime. Yesterday I heard poeple talking everyday shit during a Katzenjammer Concert.

  • @redlit

    well put bra

  • His guitar has the fullest, warmest, and greatest tone I have ever heard, what the fuck. I guess they just don't make them like they used to.

  • @BaconMotherfucker That coming from his fingers.

  • Old man look at my life im alot like your self medicated self haha, midisenal pops for ya

  • So.... was that old man his dad?

  • Amazing! I have known this song almost all of my life as my dad was a big fan. For me it reminds me of how much I am like my dad, maybe that is what he took from the song that he was also like his dad. Pure genius!!! I watched this video on aww at how it makes me think of the grunge eara in the 90's where I discovered music at first. Only do I find that the ones who I like more then likly are influenced by this song as well. Great job Neil!!!!

  • most artists now a days just do it for the money, not the art...

  • the older i get , the more this song means to me!

  • Neil Young is terrific of course, but this was edited really well, all the shots and everything.

  • I love the facial expressions he makes when he sings. I'm proud to be Canadian because of him

  • @IanRoantree Didn't know he was Canadian, this song is moving, very powerful voice, awesome talent. Really words don't do any justice.

  • You can just imagine an old cowboy when you hear this song. Amazing sound....

  • i am so jealous of his voice

  • @ThorSmash1000 Neil was and is my inspiration when playing guitar. I can mimic his voice and play all the songs on most of his first albums, including Harvest and After the Goldrush.

  • Woah... that was... amazing. Now time for clean up.

  • I listen to music from before I was born and since I was born. Most of it is fantastic except the obv flaws of our generation...I don't think I need to mention their names.

  • First chorus sent chills down my spine.

  • this is awesome

  • I think that Neal is terribly over looked as a guitarist. This work is very layered...

  • @rkernell fun fact: neil young basically is the god father of the power chord, and popularized strumming with finger picking.. hence the layered sound.

  • @stenlund0420

Interesting, I am going to have to study this.... Thank you for this...

  • The kids are all Who is this ? His art is timeless .

  • Neil young reminds me of a caveman from the Geico Commercials; his music is great, Now he is the old man

  • THIS SONG REMINDS ME A LOT OF MY DAD, WHO I LOST IN 2008. I MISS HIM AND SO DOES MY FAMILY. PEACE AND LOVE.

  • Lord of dogtown is best movie ever. I love that movie :)

  • lords of dogtown

  • the music you listen to reflects the character of a person.

  • this is a musician, with his heart and soul. Great song.. in 30 years i'll continue to listen to that great peace of music/song!

  • liking can't exist without disliking, it's one of the laws of nature. Don't worry about people that dislike things that you like, it just doesn't make sense, be yourself!

  • "Music is what feelings sound like." One my all-time favourite musicians.

  • 30 people don't know what real music is

  • Neil Young one of the artists that sing live as good or better than in a studio

  • Musical perfection

  • I think this may be the antitheses of the shallow, shite, generic crap that gets pumped out today

  • I too am Blessed to have grown up with this great music. I was 14 when Neil wrote this. I've loved it since I first heard it, only now...I'm the Old Man. I played it for my sons, my youngest is a fledgling musician and he was speechless after the first time he heard it...he gets it.

  • 29 people are probably actors who can't do this without editing

  • THE MAN

  • I watch this at least once a day. This is my favorite Neil song, but the acoustic version damn near brings me to tears. I listened to it probably 15 times in a row the first time I found it.

  • that voice....

  • feisalkkkha@yahoo,com

  • That's just simply awesome...

  • Al of those plastic, image and money obsessed people in the audience snapped to attention when this hairy, grubby hippie started singing. I wish more musicians could be so authentic and honest.

  • 41 years ago he played this song for the first time today. And it doesnt feel like it aged a bit

  • Does it really matter What generation you are? i thought music was music

whatever this is one of my favorite songs

  • one of the greatest of all times!! hits so close to home...

  • I played this song tonight in a talent show for school, I won. Thanks so much Neil, I literally could not have done it without you.

  • RIP old man

  • @LaidnPayed, i grew up listening to neil young, hendrix, janis joplin, rolling stones, pink floyd, and so many more fantastic (TRUE artist) musicians...

music is from the heart, soul and life experiences of people who knew what it was to have a soul and heart felt moments of their life and were able to write them down so precise that it had a true meaning to everyone that listened and understood the context...

  • @imbueto u r so right about that

  • @imbueto hendrix, janis joplin, rolling stones, pink floyd, they are all nothing compared to this...

  • @imbueto i also grew up with them, I'M ONLY 14 AND HATE POP MUSIC

  • @imbueto YEA ITS A SHAME DUBSTEP IS GETTING TOO POPULAR IT ISNT REALLY EVEN TRUE MUSIC THAT GIVES A MESSAGE

  • @UNEASYMARKER us dude caps srsly, and dubstep is good music.

  • Neil Young is fucking phenomenal, I'm proud to be 17 and like this music instead of lil wayne's shit which is not even comparable. Im also happy to of shared the same first name :)
