  • What kind of pony is this ...? "Minature horse" or some kind of shetlands ..?

    They're so beautiful! ♥

But not that popular in Germany :(

  • @MissRainRider These are miniature horses.

  • @Peggasus09

Thanks! :) They are so pretty *_*

But too small to be ridden, yes ..? Or are they strong enough to take kids on their backs ..?

  • @MissRainRider I have seen people put a two year old on a mini, but I really don't advocate riding the smaller ones. Unfortunately you see lots of youtube videos with teenagers riding them....not good. They're great at pulling carts though! :-) Thanks for asking and glad you liked the video :-)

  • They're wonderful all right....lucky that you have such a good friend with your mini.

  • I have a mini gelding! He's my best friend! <3

  • really great :) the little horses very big :) love it!!!

  • Beautiful babies! They are addictive, aren't they? I started out with one yearling stallion and I just bought numbers 5 & 6, a beautiful white & brown minimal paint with blue eyes and her 3 week od colt. I raise mine like they were dogs in my back yard. The smallest, a 23" yearling filly sits on the sofa in my lap and watches TV at night. Both her and her "brother, " a 26" colt are house broken.

  • @SpotterOz - I love the fact that they are being trained as guide horses. It's very cool.

  • OMG those are so cute!

Thank you so much for sharing this. ;D

  • @SpotterOz - Thanks! I've gotta admit...the minis are just more fun than one can imagine.

  • I love the song I love them too I own 2 I use too own 3 but my stallion died sadly and I don't know how so yay

  • OMG you'r soo good traiiner

  • Thanks...but truly, it's the method of training that works so well.

  • No problem, I am having fun with my appaloosa mare, but I so want to have a mini of my own, my barn has 2 used to have 3. one had to be put down because of a leg injury.

  • It's great you have your own appaloosa. And of course you can still have fun with the 2 that are at your barn :-)

  • well not really my barn or ranch ahs 2,000 arces and where both the minis are located are sorta little ways off from the barn. only time i get to pet and groom and everything with them is at my ranchs camp in the summer. I like my appaloosa even thou she can be sumwhat stubborn but when it comes to jumping shes never, she goes when i dont tell her to she loves it, but she likes me and has fun with me, just on the lazy side.

  • I love minis but I cant have any since i board one but i love the foal pics that start at 1:18, with the foal in the air. I like the whole video. they dark bay can really run fast. fastest mini iv seen run. their all so cute.

  • Thanks so much. Hopefully you can have fun with the one you board. Yep...McKee can move out when he wants....

  • Great! We love our mini!

  • They ARE lots of fun aren't they!

  • seems like my sisters little pony when she gets mad

  • HOW CUTE!!!!!! I wish i had a mini but my mother keeps telling me no. My mare is enough trouble. But yours are so cute! how long does it take you to train them?

  • Minis are great fun but I love my full sized horses too! It's great you have a mare to love and train. I use the clicker in my training and it makes things so easy for them to learn. Many tricks can be taught quickly. For more info. be sure to check out clicker training sites, mine too :-)

  • Aww I only have 1 mini at the moment. but this makes me want to go out and play with him.

  • They ARE lots of fun.... :-)

  • I hope you investigate clicker training. I have seen amazing turn arounds in many, many horses using food rewards and a marker signal. Good luck!

  • I have a miniature horse named Scottie, and he's amazing. But head strong. This has really inspired me to try to do more with him, training wise!

  • You have the most amazing minis! You have also inpsired me to build up my farm with more minis and train tricks!! You truly have an awesome gift!

  • Thanks so much! I know I keep standing on my "mini soap box" but clicker training has been the most wonderful training tool I could have hoped for. My full sized horses respond as well as the minis, and the communication is so gratifying.

    Good luck with your minis!

  • I love this video! I like to watch it everyday, it brightens them. I have a miniature horse and Peggasus09 has inspired me more and more to have my own little miniature horse farm!

  • I wish you the best with your little horse farm. They are really, really fun.

  • I LOVE this picture. This colt is very athletic....he belongs to a friend of a friend. I would love to train this guy...I'll bet I could teach him to do a headstand he's that agile...LOL.

  • The leap by the pinto mini at 1:22 is simply amazing!! Way cute the entire video!

  • That was awesome! I love your training!!

  • was the picture at 1:10 in the American miniature Horse mag in the the photography contest?

  • This horse belongs to a friend of a friend; his picture was taken professionally by Karen Malcor-Chapman. I don't know if "Jazz" made it into the photo contest...I'll check it out.

  • This WAS the same picture...the winner of the category. His name is Jazz. Isn't this photo incredible! It's by Karen Malcor-Chapman.

  • WOW nice. I knw mayr Ann

  • I've met her and she is VERY gracious. What a gift to the music world!

  • She has her own video called "Barn Cat"

  • This is so cute!!!!!!!

    The cat too!!!! :D

  • I think the filly looks like she's moonwalking...LOL...1:12

  • Miniature horses are so adorable. It;s amazing what these little things can do! I LOVE MINIATURE HORSES!!!!

  • I love how that one holds up his tail when he gallops! :) I love minis too. This is totally my song! I love your minis and hope to be like you when i am older, the way you are so into minis and can train them with patience. I love all your videos!

  • It really is cute when they flag their tails.

Check out Mary Ann Kennedy's site and email her how much you like her song. I know she'll love hearing from you. BTW....you don't have to wait until you're older. I know 8 year olds that have learned Clicker Training. Sohpie will love it....

  • Hi Peggy, I enjoyed the video and the music and was impressed of the circle trick at about 3:30.

  • Thank you so much. It really was fun music to play with. The circle trick was very fun to teach, especially with McKee walking backwards in a circle.

  • Love it Peggy! They have the funniest attitudes don't they? Reminds me of Kassie! Just love your Moonshadow, she's a doll!

  • aaaaahhh! super!!

  • Thank you Peggy! another awesome video with perfect music!! I love the close up nose shots, that's what the alpacas do when I TRY to photo them! I am so glad I've discovered you (and Mary Ann Kennedy) but now I really think my big boys need a mini or 2 or...

  • Hey...you know what they say about minis...they're like potato chips, you can't have just one :-)

  • This video/song combo is priceless!! It will have me smiling all week. Thanks!

  • Thanks! Mary Ann Kennedy is amazing. Glad you enjoyed the video.

  • THANKS FOR the WONDERFUL video Peggy...

it MADE me happy..just like minis !!

    YEAH !!!!

  • That makes ME happy to hear...you've certainly captured them in your song. Thanks for your music; you are a rare gift to the horse AND music world.

  • I love Mary Ann Kennedy... oh and mini's too!
