  • You're a life-saver, thanks for taking the time to put these videos together. Just picked up a Kimber Custom TLE II last month and am looking to finally shoot it sometime this week, figured I'd give her a good cleanin' beforehand and as it turns out I'm not too good with written directions.

  • Very well put together video. Bravo.

  • Great video!! Very, very well done!!

  • Thanks for the video. I just got a SS TLE/RL and wanted to clean and oil before I took it out to shoot for the first time. This video was a big help.

  • I don't know why they make it where you have to use that barrel bushing tool to get the recoil spring out. I guess it has to be that tight

  • Thanks for the tutorial. I just got my Custom Kimber .45 cal. Pretty novice, but this was really helpful

  • I've found a much quicker bore cleaner than Hoppe's and that's Shooter's Choice bore cleaner. It's a lot more caustic (no plastic cups/bowls/bottles.. it will eat them) but it only takes one or two applications allowed to soak maybe 10 min each. I still use Hoppe's to clean the rails and everything but the bore. Its anti-rust properties are still very good.

  • Great video man ! I had so much trouble taking the middle pin out, I was doing it without taking the recoil spring first, now I know ! thanks again. I guess is the same procedure with my 1911 Kimber Gold match.

  • how much was the kimber 1911

  • @AfKman101 - about $750 for the Custom Target II

  • @mypcblewup damn that looks nice

  • @AfKman101 Thanks!

  • Both of the videos are good. I just got my first Kimber and cleaned it before I shot using this series a guide.

  • @tucknshoot1 glad to hear it! i did the same thing after i purchased my kimber. i was surprised by how dirty my brand new gun was.

  • Excellent video, by the way. Thank you for taking the time to do it.

  • Friendly suggestion - not good to dip the brush into the bottle. That effectively contaminates the solvent in the bottle. I pour a little solvent into a small bowl or dish, and dip the brush into that bowl.

  • @foggood11 great suggestion!

  • Very informative and great video.

  • great video
