@megaknightz The only three games in my entire 15 years of video gaming that I've ever had any issues with the gameplay are Colors, Skylanders, and Generations. Oh, and add Assassin's Creed: Revelations to the list. What's the big deal with gameplay? Just sit down, learn the controls, and play the game. But, I don't like the gameplay of Colors or Generations, either. Or the music. Or the graphics. Or the voices. So, there's no reason for me to play them.
I'm 30, and I LOVE Sonic! Sonic has many admirable qualities, like standing up those that need it, valuing friendship, etc. Only if some human beings could be like Sonic, this world would be a better place. Sonic is truly King Arthur in this game. It is his Camelot. :)

@radicalcrash 06 was majorly glitched, Black Knight felt like a gimmick, and Shadow was a major spinoff. On the other hand Generations brought back the 90's sonic, and Colors was enjoyable. I don't think this, but an obvious majority still do.

It's not like the games are so good that anyone who doesn't like them hasn't played them. Classic mode was okay (especially since every time they try to recapture the Genesis era, it sucks), it wasn't varied or well-designed enough. As for modern mode, that already-terrible formula just gets more and more bland and boring each time. It's bad to have boring gameplay, period.

The funnest games usually get the lowest Metascores. As far as Sonic goes, Generations' juvenile story, uninhabbited game world, bland Modern gameplay, sloppy music remixes, stoned voice cast, and retarded graphics make it hard for some people to get into. My girlfriend and I actually fell asleep playing.

Sega needs to buck up, and quit it with the BS games they've been giving us. Ever since sonic adventure 2, Nothing (Well, with an exception of Sonic generations) has been good! (At least for the big consoles) What happened to that classic feel of sonic? The Level select stages, and the chaos! Sonic adventure 2 gave us all of that, and more. These new games, aren't doing it. It's not like the games are so good that anyone who doesn't like them hasn't played them. Classic mode was okay (especially since every time they try to recapture the Genesis era, it sucks), it wasn't varied or well-designed enough. As for modern mode, that already-terrible formula just gets more and more bland and boring each time. It's bad to have boring gameplay, period.

Not a single one of the jokes are funny, not even by accident. The old games are dark. They're about Sonic traveing through dark and mostly-futuristic saving animals from being trapped inside killer robots while the evil genius builds a space station called Death Egg. @TheGamerr You still aren't telling me whats wrong with the game. Just saying the game is shit over and over is going to make me think you didn't even bother playing it, because I've seen all of four people, not counting you, who actually hate Colors.
And actually, reviews DO matter. If a game gets a 4 out of 10, I'm not going to check it out. If a game gets a 7 or higher, I'll watch some videos of it and then decide if I want it or not. 89% of the time, I'll end up buying it.

@TheUltraBlur9 Well I'm not really trying to make you believe anything, so I don't really have to go into a passionate debate to tell you what's wrong with colors. The fact is, generations is the first thing they've made in a long time that is TRULY a sonic game, even the 3d levels were enjoyable.

@TheGamerr The fact is, there are no facts. Generations is another video game that some like and some don't. It got higher reviews, but why should that influence anybody's decision? The funnest games usually get the lowest Metascores. As far as Sonic goes, Generations' juvenile story, uninhabbited game world, bland Modern gameplay, sloppy music remixes, stoned voice cast, and retarded graphics make it hard for some people to get into. My girlfriend and I actually fell asleep playing.

@radicalcrash Generations was the first good game that Sonic Team has spewed forth in a long time, regardless of your opinion. Because it's you opinion, and the same reason I laugh when people get as upset like Theultrablur. Regardless of you liking it, I still believe it's the best thus far.

Sega needs to buck up, and quit it with the BS games they've been giving us. Ever since sonic adventure 2, Nothing (Well, with an exception of Sonic generations) has been good! (At least for the big consoles) What happened to that classic feel of sonic? The Level select stages, and the chaos! Sonic adventure 2 gave us all of that, and more. These new games, aren't doing it. Sega, Why fix something that was never broken? Why try new things? We loved sonic the way he was. D:

well, maybe not abismal. but the loading was god freaking awful. and the jumping mechanic needed to be fixed. if sega ever made a remake. they need to have better loading and better controls. other than that, the game wasnt truly abysmal, buut a little close
