  • impressive work on the engine

  • thats pretty bad-ass! i wish i knew how to do stuff like this. you could make a whole new turtles arcade game.

heck, i'd even add wrestlers to wwf wrestlefest while i was at it. machoman and ric flair.

    damn, im jealous.

  • fail

  • That is a cool mod! You should have added Roadkill Rodneys in that level.

  • wow WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN OF DOG SHIT!!!! Knight of ROund like a background.....congratulations for this big pile of shit...

  • @mauro1990ish

I can't even reply with a witty remark to this.. it really speaks for itself.

  • Background is from Knights of the round I believe.

  • Reminds me of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 the movie a little.

  • slm W w W .BAKİRESOHBET.C0M

  • Basically TMNT in a Knights of the Round level.

  • why people not making game like TMNT melee but with better graphic and both Old and New turtles =( T_T

  • Another highly intelligent reply..

  • @serena180 Another highly intelligent reply..

  • @jasonorme666

He was born on the 128 bit era.. go fig..

  • @jasonorme666 lol what do you expect shes a bitch, bitches suck at vidya game knowledge

  • @serena180 that games isn't even out yet so how can u like it better?

  • @serena180 This uses the actual arcade game's graphics and looks like something of its era. It looks like it's supposed to, and is able to with the programming used. Of course it won't look like TMNT Reshelled.

  • hey my childhood )

  • does your sword have a collision box or is the animation a collision?

  • I have an invisible active object thats created whenever the animation plays.

Using an animation as detection never tends to work very well.

  • @jasonorme666

    thx

  • its look like very pretty

  • That background screen looks awfully familiar, oh yeah from that capcom game knights of the round or something like that, still that doesnt take away your credit for doing something like this, it must be hard

  • how did u fuse tmnt and knighs of the round man badass

  • Who was the boss in this level? Slash? Leatherhead?

  • I didn't put a boss in this level. I just had a couple of machine gunning foot soldiers.

  • It seems like a level missing from Turtles in Time. Good job, though. It looks very good. I'm glad that when yesterday's generation grew up, we didn't forget what helped us through childhood. And our parents thought we were wasting time playing video games. HA!

  • Thats the level from the Knights of the Round Table game if I remember corretly

  • I'd like to see an arcade remake of the NES "Turtles: The Manhattan Project" with this style graphics.

  • jasonorme666, how did you do this? It's amazing!!! I would love to see it with NES backgrounds.

  • Turtle soup anyone?

    PIZZA!!

  • great job and your playing as my favorite turtle

  • nice job. you need have the splash graphic when the foot jumps from teh water.

  • No, this is a new level I made using my TMNT Engine, it uses TMNT arcade content from Konami 1989 game, and uses the background from Capcom's Knight of The Round. There was never a level like this on Turtles In Time arcade version or Snes.

  • LOL..

    listen to that guy..

talking like he's been playing turtles in time all his life.

  • heh, well any real player would have realized that this was the first TMNT arcade engine and not the Turtles in time by the way the foot soldiers explode.

  • Right?

  • Hey man how do I get the music to work???

  • jasonorme666, instead of ripping off another video game background, you could have made a background of the ice level or the dojo one from the NES version of this game and thus had an even better game. Would those levels not look tons better in 16-bit form, anyway?

  • Ripping off and ripping are two different things. Using the knights of the round background was a quick way to show people what can be done within the tmnt engine (plus it was already ripped). Many people have asked about adding the NES exclusive levels, but converting 8bit to match these style graphics isnt an easy task (and the bosses would be even harder to do).

  • Um, Capcom made all new levels and redesigned 1942 for XBox Live and the PlayStation Network, jasonorme666. Also, have you ever heard of MUGEN by any chance? People rip off or otherwise alter sprites and then fit them into the game. A simple way to make a 16-bit Tora is to use a Razhar sprite from TMNT 2: Turtles in Time/TMNT4: Turtles in Time and then make him appear in the game by altering him. Since those things exist, then you have no real excuse as to not do that on your own, okay?

  • Capcom is a multi-billion pound company with 10,000+ employees, I on the other hand am one person with other priorities in life other than working on a free to play modification of a game. Rahzar and Tora look nothing alike and editing every frame of animation to change his appearence is no easy deal, MUGEN is not some sort of amazing imagination machine that creates sprite edits via wireless thought input.. it still takes alot of time. It wouldn't be just some simple re-color or sprite rip.

  • I really like what I see here. I'm going to try your game out.

  • NO, NO, NO Dumb Ass this game is The TMNT Arcade!!!

  • pendejada de video

  • LOL. well... Leonardo fits in because he has a pair of katanas

  • This is so awesome. TMNT: The remake.

  • DAMN IM OLD NOW

  • Indeed it is.

  • Thats really cool!

  • cowabunga

  • Not too bad video. Though its missing a good amount of the Knights of the Round stuff like some kindof medieval-like boss at the end, plus the destructable boxes. Other than that its quite good.

  • This is interesting. Adding things that the original doesn't will definitely add to the appeal. Adding support for cpu partners will be great :)

  • personally i think the stage is nice looking and adds a vast appeal. ur right MMF2 adds u much room for possibilities, even custom moves, codes, levels (obviously) characters, bosses, side stories, mini games, even a nice little save feature, etc

  • This has nothing to do with arcade or mame :p Just play the real arcade game for the real thing I say...

  • Then you have missed the point of TMNT Engine.

If I wanted to play the "real thing" i'd go in my front room and play on my TMNT arcade machine, but its not about that.

  • the mame games even allow 4 players online. Something like this would be so limited. And using Knights of the Round stages just makes it ugly.. meh

  • Mame doesn't allow 4 players online, Xbox Live's release does. This has the possibilities to be online too (the latest update features an online score board system).

There are far less limits of TMNT Engine, i.e if I wanted to add Casey Jones, done. If I wanted to make foot soldiers as playabale characters done. Anything is possible with this.

  • Actually with any version of mame with kaillera added to it (mame32k, mame32++, HKaillera, etc) you can play online with 4 players (or more, but additional players simply spectate).

That said, great job! I'd love to see somebody redo those two "bounty hunter stages" from the NES version, only with arcade graphics and feel.
