Ok, I just read some of the other comments.. I don't know how some of you could say he's not acting funny. Do you watch the debates? I know he fumbles his words sometimes but he never acts like this.. He's all giddy and making up things as he goes along, like things just pop into his head so he says them.. Clear sign of impairment.. Maybe it is just pain meds.

They provide most care on a sliding fee scale so that people who are poor or without jobs can afford care. Defunding Planned Parenthood hurts a whole lot and does't help much of anything. Rick Perry needs to brush up on his facts.

Why are people so misinformed about Planned Parenthood!! Only 3% of what PP does is abortions. The rest is STD testing, birth control, or even treating something like strep throat. PP is there to lower the number of unwanted pregnancies and make men and women healthier overall. They preach safety, using condoms, birth control because abstinance is simply unrealistic in the modern world.

I'm a Texan. So, I don't have high expectations for Rick, but when he wanted to ram a new toll road through the state, which would take people's property by force, and when he wanted to add 3 more coal plants until the business community begged him not to, and when, out of the blue, he decided to vaccinate pre-teen girls for cervical cancer, he wasn't consistent with the things he says in this video. But then, this is the longest I've heard him talk. He stays in the back room here, making deals.

Religion rots reason and autonomy more effectively and thoroughly than any brainwashing system. Polls consistently find around 50% of USians would not vote for an atheist. Every candidate has to have proof of religious belief and detailed philosophy and it's scrutinised more than most of their policies and beliefs on other stuff. It is absurd, frightening, and beggars belief in a post-Enlightenment world.
If there is one thing that illustrates the gap between Europe and the US, this is it.

In addition, not everyone who receive the death penalty is convicted without a shadow of grey. The death penalty only serves one purpose.

We currently have a tax/economic structure that redistributes wealth to the top. In 1978 the top 5% of the US controlled 28% of it's wealth. Thanks to Bush/Regan tax cuts, the top 5% now controls 62%. If we don't stop or even reverse this trend we will have no middle class. You hear the far right saying that unions and minimum wage laws are bad and our workers should be more competitive globally. A worker in china make $2.25 per day. Is that really our end goal? It is for the far right!

LOL Here is the truth: Average hours worked per household in 1970 was 26.5 hrs/week (remember the days mommy could stay at home and not work at all?) Today it over 30 hrs/week.
