WOW!! I have not had that heli for a long time. For a starter heli,,,, It was not bad. Now that they come with 2.4Ghz, thats even better. Be prepaired for long waits for parts!!! If you want it, go for it,, But look into the CopterX RTF packages first. Much better deal.
Did that a long time ago!!!!,, a better and cleaner fix was to ground the tail pully to the boom, boom to the frame, and frame to the negitive of the battery. No more static build up, and it saved alot of clean up from the belt getting over lubed to kill the static. Better yet,,get a DX7
This was flown in 3D mode, with stock radio setup..,,at the time the problem was the negitive collective was set to high. After getting it set up +10 -10 it flew much better. And with the metal head,, the helicopter had even better performance.
It really did explode mine during my warm-up session on the kitchen. Rotor blades scattered with small parts with it. Luckily, I managed to pick and locate these pieces and put it back again. It was a loose screws on the main rotor was my suspect. Anyway, as I am watching this 3D performance of our comrade I feel like I'm so cool and great for having this "Walkera 60B"...
I have never flown the Honey Bee King 2. Looking at the kit, It looks nice. I have had several problems with the DF 60, NONE of which were Walkeras fault. And all are fixed. My DF 60 flies great now. Between the two helis, you can't go wrong in this price range. I actually like the Walkera Transmitter. Lots of programing options.
Well i heard the Walkera electronics where not that reliable. So i replaced my transmitter and receiver with a MX12 and R700 from Graupner.
And the servo's of the Walkera #60 are the same as the cheap Walkera 4#1 and 04 ( NS-05 servo's ) So i replaced those with the tower pro 9g.
For the rest you can put the rudder servo on the tail for better tail response and place the battery in front of the engine like in the trex 450 and Mini Titan has.
nic i did it with mine and yes your rite it self exploded well i hit the deck and ruined my feathering soindal so im just going to buy a whole new head
I have nearly the same set up.
great flying..

put some synthetic lube on the belt, a dry belt can cause static and twitch the electronics
