Saying you can't be a true Chelsea fan when you you think Ancelotti is the special one is just idiotic. Everyone has different expectations of what makes a good team and a lot of people prefer the attacking style Carlo has brought to the club, especially when compared to the "negative" football of Mourinhos reign. Of course Jose wasn't playing negative football: it was a tactic geared around suppression and possession, but that doesn't mean it wasn't dull to watch.

As for being 5th, you can't be special when you're managing an ageing squad that struggles to find form and confidence? Ramires has shown some real sparks of potential and all we need is a good new pair of players (a midfielder like Kroos and a decent young centre back) and we'll be fine. But the way we bought players like we did when roman came to chelsea was more clever i think that we've done lately. Luiz was a good signing. And Torres might prove to be a good one as well, but £50 mil is an insane price, and that price sets some really high expectations, and it's those expectations, that i'm fearing he won't fulfill.
