  • man old assyrian songs are way better then all this new stuff it all sucks

  • very nice song

can i now the singer history?

  • Awesome song, I'm Chaldean and I love this song it reminds me of my childhood.

  • This song was written and produced by Hikmat Shabo. Hikmat Shabo wrote this song 1979 in Sweden Stockholm, during a time when he lived with some 20 Assyrian youth in a motel. I am ashamed to even to tell you this because it is facts that the Assyrian people probably already know. It is legitimate and credible fact that both I, which is close to Hikmat, the assyrian people and Sargon Gabriel himself could confirm.

  • The sad thing here is how an Assyrian man at this age can make such a lie, he might feel better by trying to take the glory and honor for something he did not do. A grown man with low self-esteem that is still looking for confirmation. These patterns we see today in children and mostly young girls who become satisfied when they are confirmed. Ramzi Ballou and naramsinbalou seems to be the same person. Funny huh :)

  • BEM:: Assyria and Chaldia are one of the oldest civilisation in the world today called Iraq, the language is part of the Aramaic, the songs are somthing between Assyrian, arabic Kurdish and turkish. I hope you have a little bit of clarification. and best regards.

  • Just to give u a little bit of education Assyrians and the language are no where near kurds or turks....they wish that they could be like us...if u notice they copy all of the Assyrian traditions...so go read a book before u speak....

  • Would somebody enlighten me please, what is Assyrian language like? It sound like something between Kurdish and Arabic to me. Is it of Semitic background? The music is also similar to Arabic and Kurdish. I'd appreciate if an Assyrian would leave me a message (in the inbox) and let me know. Thanks!
