This video is great!!! He goes on and tell you what the primary differences are between the two Civics. I'm lookng to buy an 09 Civic LX-S and this saved me time from researching.

LX-S uses the same powertrain as in the 08 model Civic LX, so no difference there. Strictly cosmetics, looks like. Still, it looks sharp!!!!! Must have. Plus, it's rated as the best compact sedan next to the Honda Fit.

I just bought a 2009 honda civic if you drive it its pretty quiet while driving it and i bet you wont get speeding with the 2009 cause the mph is on the dashboard dont have to look down the radio is pretty cool to 2008 and 2009 is kinda the same with the headlights and the brake lights but the 2009 coupe the back is different it has a navigatio system in it there both cool if you want to buy a civic sedan dont pick red pick red if your buying a coupe because the coupe is sporty civic rock!!
