  • 22 here, shame I've been into F1 since 2003, seems I caught it, literally, at the end of the good times. Though honestly it probably goes before that.

But hey, all sports ARE business, sad but true.

Wish we could see stuff like this these days

  • If I had 1 dollar for each pixel, I would have 1 dollar.

  • @Traakki11 HAHAHAHA, that's so funny and original HAAHAHHAHA, you would have one dollar HAHAHHHAHHAA

  • @Traakki11 Ah ha, haaaa!! This comment made my day, I´m still laughing, LOL...

  • recorded with a toaster

  • I want that sort of F1 again !!

  • I'm 19 now,and I didn't have the priviledge to watch this kind of action in F1 because I was very young in that time but damm,I would give millions just to have the chance to watch these guys racing, because every moment was special these days, with hakkinen-schumi battle that for sure was one of the most beautiful and exciting battles in F1, including the way they were very friendly with each other out of the track, but unfortunately nowdays we get to see only tension and jealousy between drivers

  • @blerand91 Hi, you know, i'm 21 and I think that those times were great, but enjoy what we have now. I mean, i remember the 2008 Interlagos season end and it was just EPIC. Enjoy what we got now, which is also great!!

  • @champiforest I know but I'm talking these days we have only jelaousy between drivers. We have Webber always complaining in red bull and also Alonso swearing to the others like he did to Petrov,so we don't have much fun despite in the racing track where everything seems to be so dramatic. If we look at the drivers like Schumi,Hakkinen or Barrichello they were very attractive and always thought of entertaining the public of the sport.

  • @blerand91 I'm 19 as well and had the privilege to watch the sport during those days, it was awesome indeed.

  • bernie needs to cancer for F1 to return to glory days

  • Was This Filmed with a Rectal Camera?

  • Mike vs Schumi = legendary years of F1!!!

  • which race was this?

  • @1986Chaitanya qualifying 1999 Canada

  • Exitebike had better graphics in the 80's...

  • Was this filmed with a potato?

  • @XR8xSHOCKWAVE Nah, i'm sure it was a calculator.

  • sincere competitors respectin one other as friends...great

  • Incident involving cars 1 and 4 is under investigation by the stewards.

  • @bytiful hahahaha, im afraid you are wrong though. This was back in the days when fun was allowed in F1

  • @bytiful you mean pixels 1 and 2

  • I still remember that. so funny. those were real guys. mika and eddie.

  • those were the good days of F1...now everyone looks like a robot "I am gonna do what am told" no more human touch to it...the big corporations and the scumbags took it over

  • if I would get a dollar for every pixel in this video, I would have 1 dollar

  • @PCMProfi thanks for the 6 pack. I almost died laughing -.-"

  • Which pixel was Hakkinen?

  • @117x117Spartan its not pixelated for me, it must be your PC

  • @117x117Spartan r u blind

  • @117x117Spartan Considering there are 3 drivers, 2 of whom are wearing red. And mika never driver of Ferrari .............. Retard

  • @JoshuaJohnKnight considering he was being sarcastic and you took him literally....... retard.

  • @trevorwinton Considering i was being sarcastic because he was being sarcastic and you took me literally....... retard.

  • @117x117Spartan I assume hes the light colored one and Iddeie is one of the two red ones

  • @117x117Spartan I think the 1st pixel out of 1.

  • @117x117Spartan the wihte pixel ^^

  • @117x117Spartan

    Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool XD

  • mika just grabs the jug :D

  • wonderfull -- F1 was fun then

  • Cheeky little bastard he was, Irvine. XD

  • I didn't like Hakinen when he was around, he seemed dour but there was so much more to the guy. He has a sense of humour and was a brilliant racer, incredibly quick.

  • thoses guys seem like best friends.....love it

  • what is teh reason?

  • voin laskea pixelit

  • F1 needs to go back to these simple and fun days

  • Comment removed

  • HAHAHA I love it how Mika goes for the jug!

  • Eddie Irvine, what a character =)

  • Ou yes!! Those days :D

  • Eddie Irvine was THE most entertaining F1 driver I have had the pleasure of following. He was constantly fooling around and being naughty in interviews and stuff. It's all too serious these days. Irvine + Hakkinen = Legends. Schumacher = Awesome driver, arrogant prick.

  • @jmzoakley I totally agree about Schumacher but I think there are also others drivers in F1 more enternaning than Eddie like for instance Gilles Villeneuve the madman or Ayrthon also . Anyway Irvine can be considerated the most enternaing during his era.

  • All the Eddie's in the world are good guys ;) #LOL

  • LOL that was so sophomoric!

  • whoops now he gets a 10 place grid penalty for that.... haha

  • he would get banned for doing that nowadays

  • hahahahah

  • lmao no one wants to sit next to Schumacher xD

  • @CrosbySid87 not anymore :P regardless of what he did at the hungarian gp i still consider him a LEGEND!

  • @CrosbySid87 Who DOES really :-)

  • This was when the drivers were human and had personalities

  • @FlamethowersBurn You're right man.

Today I see nothing but hate. Drivers hate each-other, even team mates.

FIA's rules are just wow... Driver complain about everything...

  • @GangstaDogg21 Agree!

  • Haha hilarious! Anyone knows why Eddie did that?

  • @VuDu4000 Because the champagne fight wasnt enough for them :)

  • @VuDu4000

Just for fun, they were old buddies from the Japanese F3. Before the juice attack, he was kicking Hakki's leg under the table. Hakki just got up and started to chase him and splashed the whole bottle onto him. Those were the days. I loved F1 back then, and Eddie was my favorite. :)

  • crap picture

  • @HazzdaMan crap comment

  • @JoshuaJohnKnight crap life you have

  • real F1? and the years beetween 1973-1991???

  • @bluebeatboy2001 It would be more correct if it was Real Modern F1, 1973-1991 was real f1 years but the cars were a bit different, But who can forget drivers like Senna. The today`s F1 is shit and it made me stop watching it since the year after schumacher left. I wasn`t supporting Schumacher but I am a fan of him right now.

  • @hellerase

    rose tinited glasses?

  • Hahaha, so funny,Ihanan tollanen kiva ilmapiiri.

  • Button might, he has a really cool attitude in my opinion.

  • hahaha noone does that these days *sigh*

  • @douma4000 we have schumacher now , but agree , those days will be difficult to return , but seems this year it can return

  • We can just imagine what mika did to eddie out of camera shot! haha, wish we could see it

  • jajajajajaja que bueno

  • 1998 or 1999?????

  • @CagyMitch

1999 I guess. maybe even earlier

  • Of the current drivers I think only Webber & Vettel have any mischievousness and humour about them. Of course Michael returns in 2010 so he will bring some much needed personality to the grid.

Outside of these 3 I can't think of any that would come close. Button, Hamilton, Alonso, Rosberg, Kubica & especially Raikkonen are yawn worthy.

  • Massa has a personality so I could see him throwing water and stuff :P

  • Raikkonen's got a hell of a character to him. He just doesn't seem to do it for the media lol. I agree with you though... Heidfeld always seemed in good humour, shame he wasn't in the spotlight often enough and now he's demoted to testing.

  • @carbineAU What about Kimi eating an icecream at Malaysia in 09, that was classic.

  • @godanselmo Is there a video of that?I mean did they show that?

We finns tend not show our nervousness.

  • @godanselmo haha. When it was raining!

  • good times... Today, if a driver like hamilton or massa or others would do something like this, FIA and FOM and FOA fired him ... And after, they say there isn't spectacle in F1..

  • Most professional athlete's here in the U.S. wouldn't react the same way Mika did. They have too much pride which is a bad thing.

Even with the horrible quality of this video you can clearly see Mika smiling ear to ear ready to have some fun.

    Incredible sportsmanship shared here.

  • i like it how mika is having none of it and chases him away with the jug!

    Mika is the man!

  • typical (northern) irish, always having the craic lol

  • LOL !!

  • yeah, nowadays F1 is much more a business than a motor sport

  • @forsteaua plz tell me any competition besides olimpics that aint a business, any time of the history

  • The 3 best F1 drivers right there, ever.

  • Was they kidding or really "fighting"?

  • They had funXD

  • kidding ofc.

Nowadays humor doesn't exist in F1, which makes it boring to watch as it's just damn strict.

  • Humour doesn't exist in F1 nowadays? If Kimi doesn't find a team next year, I'll agree with you.

  • They were just playing around. In another camera view, Mika had a huge grin on his face and couldn't wipe it off! When Berger retired, Irving just stepped in his place!

  • It was a prank, Irvine, Hakinnen and even Shumacher have reputations for liking the occasional practical joke.

  • shumi is like wtf guys??? then goes rite im having a piece of this!!!

  • And Mika was willing to empty the whole juice jar at Irvine. These were cool times. But now, F1 is SRS BIZNS

  • i wouldn't call Schumachers prime 2005-2006. his prime was 2000-2004

  • Schumacher won his first two titles at Benetton you berk. Plus him and Brawn went to Ferrari when they were a sleeping giant and made them big again, much like Rossi and Burgess did to Yamaha

  • Who has the most wins? Who has the most titles? Oh who also made the most money?

  • Haha very good. Its interesting that if the 1999 season took place under the current points system, Irvine would have been champion with a race to spare. Ah well what can ya do. Hakkinen's a cool guy :)

  • good reactions by mika.

  • Irvine was a credit to F1. Its a pitty he lost out to Mica. Ferrari didnt want him to win deep down as they favoured Michael even though he broke his leg that year and couldnt win it mathematically.

  • Lol, Irvine was a lot of fun, I like how he would always speak is mind too.

  • lol... i better accept that :P

  • these were years of real F1

  • @aggravati

    Concordo

  • f1 used to be sooo much better.. the new guys jus gotta do what everyone else does, cant have fun.. bring back these heroes. hunt, irvine, berger and the likes

  • irvine is insane.

  • Youre a piece of shit

  • reallly guys the oldies wre much better....

  • bring back the old drivers better den new boy

  • Haha that was cool :P

  • schumi jus chillin lol f1 has bin shit in the last 2-3 years, im goin ryt off it, its not the same as the 90's

and leeds0united i no wot ur horny for.....the premier league u dumb cunting horrible motherfucker

  • we dont see any of this in today,s f1. thats sad

  • because today's drivers are so cold... it seemed like they don't have fun in racing.

in the 90's there were a lot of "nice mood" drivers: Berger, Irvine, Hakkinen, Katayama, Alesi... Mansell was a dick :)

  • you are so right, just have a look at the podium these days, they don't seem to share the joy with the f1 partners

  • Reading all those names made me a little depressed...it just pains me to think that F1 doesn't have any cool characters anymore

  • Yeah, everyone's so dull. That's exactly what everyone was saying at that point, 10 years ago. That's exactly what everyone was sayng in 1982 - the sport has gone commerical, no characyers are left.

Fuck off, wake up. Button, Vettel, Webber, Barrichello, Kimi (getting an Ice Cream whilst everyone else is sitting on the grid in Malaysia). F1 is so dull these days. Blah de fucking blah.

  • Well maybe my comment was a little emotional and misdirected. The truth is that even though there are indeed characters like the ones you mentioned above, the sport has become way more political and commercial. Drivers are stuck in an environment where they have to tread a lot more carefully. The characters are still there, it's just the environment that has changed and subdued them a little.

  • Only reasonable comment in here.

For the others, the thing you feel is called NOSTALGIA. And I'm absolutely sure that in 2020, people will feel the same way when they see videos from 2009 season races.

  • Not to mention all the damned Technology making the races dull. I miss when it was all about the driving, and not who has the best programmers.

  • Yea but now don't you need talent to be able to drive the car while making ajustments at the same time?

  • it is juice..not water..:D:))

  • which has water in it

  • hahahahahahahahaha, true

  • So we knowed eddie... the last caracter in f1
