He seems to overlook a very essential point: If you against odds influence the outcome, you will influence the outcome by A LOT compared to the effort you put into it. This could very well make up for the low probability.
I'd love to see a world where no-one voted. Me, I haven't voted for decades. Why encourage them? What give me the right to demand they steal money, wage wars and boss people around on my behalf? Leave people alone why doncha? You know, freedom?
While the statistics are an interesting part of it, what about the morality aspect of voting? You are forcing people to do something they may not wish to do. Disenfranchisement of the non-voters and minority voters. It's a huge problem when 50% + 1 of the voting public can tell the rest what to do. Liberty and Democracy are not compatible with one another.
oh my, he has broken the First Commandment of Democracy, "Thou shalt not denigrate the almighty sacrament of voting." how dare he not bow his unworthy old head towards the cult ritual of pulling the Holy Lever of Freedom! BLASPHEMY!
Democracy is not freedom. Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat for lunch. Freedom comes from the recognition of certain rights which may not be taken, not even by a 99% vote.
You're an idiot forrestfire 101. People didn't fight and die for the right to vote. They fought and died for freedom. Freedom and voting are not the same thing. Freedom is being able to do what you want with the Life, liberty, and property so that it doesn't interfere with others. Voting is the exact opposite. When I vote I am casting a ballot telling you what to do with your life, liberty, and property. Instead of swallowing propaganda whole, why don't you think for yourself?

People DIED so we can choose our leader, so we can all band together and choose what is right, now here, some ol' douche bag comes in thinking he's all that, telling us that voting doesn't make a difference when really, when it all boils down to it, he's just dumb. Plain stupidity. That's all.

If almost no one voted - voting would become compulsory because bandits in government need at least illusion of popular consent to hold power.

The video should have ended with the words ..... "Which means voting is nonsense"

If we counted the non-votes, then the non-voters would win every
time since they form a block all saying no to all candidates while the votes for
candidates are always necessarily split. Voters divide themselves into
smaller percentage camps, but non-voters do not, and therefore they should win.
Someone should create The League of Non-Voters and then call a
press conference every time saying, "We won again!" : )

@anowrast funny thing.. those people who died for "freedom" failed to reach their goal. Americans have less freedom than they had in 1800.
