hi arctablet, I'd like to ask if your Arnova 7 G2 has the pre-installed Google Calendar and Contacts? I had my Arnova 7 G2 recently and I can't install the Calendar and the Contacts even if it came directly from Google... Does the Arnova 7G2 cannot support those basic GoogleApps?
what about memory? 512mb or what? cause in some lihuanian e-shops it is written that his static memory (don't know what that means) is 8gb, but now i am confused :D please reply
@airidaskvedaras17 It has 512 Mb of system memory. The 8 Gb are storage memory for your applications and data videos (videos, music...). Please check the Arnova 7G2 review from the link in the video description to know more on this tablet.
how is the wifi on the 7 g2, i had the 10 g2 and it was horrible, i read review after review of people having to be almost in the same room as their wireless router to get a decent wifi signal.. forget it if you are on the second floor and the router is on the first. ... so I would really check that first before getting an arnova... other than that, the picture is gorgeous.
@onertodie There is no Archos 70 IT in Estonia ? You may consider that one too, it has bluetooth and HDMI, should be in about the same price. Still it has less memory (256 Mb vs 512 Mb) and an older OS (Android 2.2 Froyo vs Android 2.3 Gingerbread), but it's still good device.
@arctablet Nope, we don't have that. Well the G2 has more memory and new android, I don't think I would use bluetooth or HDMI frequently but it would be cool.
@onertodie Arnova 7 G2-e teebki heaks see naeruväärselt hea hind. Ainult et ei tea kas sellel on Android Market tööle saadud. Sellel 70 IT-l saadi küll häkkiga tööle, aga Arnovat ei tea.
@cleaneraz09 Both models are OK, the 10 G2 gives more confort when it comes to editing text or web browsing. You may also consider the 8 G2 model which has a 4/3 screen ratio which is quite good for web browsing or ebook reading. You can have a look on arctablet blog for the product review of the 3 models.
I have arnova 7g2 tablet. When i play Need for speed shift in landscape mode, if i want to steer left or right, i must tilt my tablet up or down, not left or right, what must i do?
I had/have the Arnova G2 10, and it's an OK tablet, tried rooting it, and it bricked (Do not root the Philly Tablet version, it will kill it). I did get a replacement, which I have not opened, and will be selling on eBay. I chose to go with the Toshiba Thrive 16 GB, because it has the Market, it comes with a Dual Core Processor and it has front and rear facing cameras. I can go on, but the Arnova is not the Tablet for me.
@Sackbotmaster Not with the default firmware. A custom firmware providing root access and Android Market is in the works and will be soon made available on Arctablet blog, check the link the video description.
@hennie23 i also own it. it is a good tablet, a bit on the heavy/thick side compared to more expensive archos tablets. the touchscreen is very responsive. however it doesn't yet have a crack for Android Market which is a big draw back.
@hennie23 ya,I bought the arnova 7 G2 and i love it, and its the 7inches and its more portable than the 10 inch one and less expensive, got it from amazon i love it :)
Its a good tablet. cheap too. mine was £120. There isnt currently a crack for installing Google Market on it though, so your stuck with the Archos App Library for now.

Would be cooler if it had HDMI and bluetooth but I have to get this one because it's the only one available here in Estonia.

@onertodie Ma elan ka Eestis ja Faun.ee-s on Archos 70 IT olemas 204€ eest. Kuigi jah ainult HDMI ja BT pärast on 50% hinna tõusu nati palju

Oh my, I cant to decide which one should i choose: arnova 7 g2 or 10 g2... Is 7" screen enough for editing text, gaming, and using internet?
