There's my buddy Lia on trumpet!! But seriously, under Mr. Walker SSU was a pretty good band. This is the first year under their new director, so it's expected to be rocky. Hopefully they'll bounce back.
I know i'm late lol but yea man State Band and football program has fallen off since be coming a unversity and they are tying to bill back up yall feel me. They are not giving out money for band and sports like other schools do(meaning they give less money)so it's hard for a kid who can get a free ride at SU or FAMU and have to chance to march with great programs thats has big names to turn down to go to a school like SSU that doesn't have a big name and is trying to rebuilt a greta program.
