@shortsalesriches If thats your whole point, then why not, if you don't like that the government is largely corrupted by corporate money, FREAKING STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS!
Here is my whole point.. You don't like the education system for your kids? then FREAKING HOMESCHOOL, You don't like the job situation and unemployment THEN FREAKING FIND A NEED AND GO START A BUSINESS,You don't like the cost of college and college loans? THEN DON'T GO TO COLLEGE.The government, and the corporations are not responsible for our financial well being we are. That's how I think and if we all thought that way we wouldn't be in a recession. But instead of that mindset, were protesting.
@shortsalesriches From cflhomeless.wordpress. com "1.5 MILLION = the number of children in America who go to sleep without a home each year", "1 in 50 = an American child’s chances of experiencing homelessness in their lifetime". And Carolla seems to think that the main issue is people are jealous of him. So ignorant. You don't get to take you wealth with you when you die. What kind of world are we leaving behind for future generations?
@shortsalesriches What kind of business. A too big to fail business? Is that all we leave behind? Businesses? Thats it. Thats your answer to everything? How about a business that forges signatures. That would be a good one. Or wait a minute. Are we supposed to be moral also? Is there anything else besides the holy grail of "business" in your conceptual handbag?
@3314adam an ethical business of course. People that forge signatures have nothing to do with the fact that you need to hope for the best and prepare for the worst for your own well being. I just think people need to realize that if the jobs aren't there they have to fend for themselves.
@shortsalesriches A "free for all" is not a socially beneficial structure for individuals. Yes, people do need to think and work towards self responsibility, but in the context of an interdependent framework, this becomes much more powerful. We all live in this society, and this society is made up of more then just businesses. This is fundamentally important.
@shortsalesriches I watched "Adam Carolla talks about the Fall of the Economy". He is thinking in terms of envy. His ideas include poor people are only jealous and want a fake trophy, and basically seems to be saying the impoverished are "douchebag bags". His needs are being met so easily, he seems to not be able to imagine people who's needs are not being met. This is sad. There are people who are living in real desperation. And the projection is, this is only going to get worse.
the worse the economy gets the more that the general public will have less of a sense of responsibility. Adam Correllas rant on the protestors described it best. Google it.
@shortsalesriches I agree with you, to a point. If people are dissillusioned by people that where supposed to represent them who lied to them and marginalized them, don't they have a right to stand up for themselves? Isn't this an extension of struggling toward self reliance? How about a responsible citizenry that pays attention to whats going on, instead of just assuming everything is going to work?
@shortsalesriches The lazy people think, things are working out for me right now, so I don't have to worry about people who are in need. 43.6 million Americans are now living in poverty. By the way, I think its interesting that the name of your video matched Sharpies subliminal message in its recent advertisement.
@3314adam yeah I'm in cahootz with Sharpie.. you're onto me lol My evil plan is now being discovered. I'm now going to form an alliance with BIC pens (instert evil laugh here)
it's not a corporations fault if someone get's laid off. That's business. If you don't want that to happen then start your own business and leave your destiny in your own hands not some "evil corporation". That's what I did.
@shortsalesriches How can you say they are babies? They are on the streets putting their bodies on the line. Have you seen how they are treated? Further, many don't have to be there, but choose to be out of a sense of obligation to those who have almost nothing. You say they are lazy. I say, the lazy people are those who understand about corruption between corporations, special interest groups, and government and do nothing.
3314adam... are you protesting my stop protesting video? lol jk. My point is that why are these people holding up signs when they could be looking for a job, starting a business or if all else fails looking for "odd jobs"? They never even really defined what their stance even was? I'm sorry but if you protest you're a little bit of a baby. Example: If I anti-war I would attend an anti-war rally.... now a "pro peace rally is a different story. :)
@shortsalesriches Why would you think everyone protesting is a victim? And what about those what are victimized? Its hard to look for a job when your homeless. You basically said, I don't understand whats going on, I don't care, go start a company or get a job. It was a nice shot of the site though. Thanks for that at least.
Short Sale Kid in the HOUSE! I We don't protest in Florida, we start real estate companies and collect checks! I look forward to seeing all those protesters when they retire and need a place to live in FL.
