Skaters take note: Study Robin's arms in every one of his performances. No flailing around (as Dick Button would say) - no movement without musical meaning/ interpretation. Divine!

Thank you for posting this! I've been a fan of Robin's for over 20 years and never get tired of seeing this beautiful program. He had something no other skater did...something about the lines, the grace, the lyricism, the sheer beauty of his movements and choreography. To this day I've never seen a skater who can match him in this way.

Beautiful man....the skaters these days are too focused on trying to hit the triple axle lutz (or whatever) and the rest of their program is boring. RC was an amazing skater in all aspects.

Absolutely! I wish more skaters used the slide spiral. On a tall skater, it's so exquisite and really shows off their body line. Skaters years ago just seemed to have more of a sense of how every move appeared to those who were watching them.
