  • Wow, driver is patient. I'd ram that shit

  • wow a life size happy meal toy.

  • Wow Ireland is beautiful and clean, Man, I hate the US, It doesn't have such uniqueness as all these other countries. Im moving.

  • @Noel127 no one is stopping you. leave

  • what makes this advanced? its a ford focus...

  • an 'advanced' paramedic unit wouldve done a handbrake turn instead of a U-turn then SPED off, instead of going the same speed as other traffic. UNAMUSED

  • @Cexuup he's a paramedic, not a boy racer. a handbrake turn there would be completely unecessary and do nothing but pointlessly wear down his tyres

  • @Cexuup "advanced" doesnt mean driving like you do on gta, it means he or she has more training then regular paramedics to deal with more serious situtations

  • Gosh. wherever this is people suck, they take so long to get out of the way. Over here if we see or hear an ambulance coming the first thing we do is mount a curb or something to get out of the way. In this video they kind of sit there waiting for everyone to move... :( what if it was you who was in trouble.

  • @forbzy1590 I do see what you mean, and I'm not too sure what the laws of the road are in the U.S (I'm guessing from the word 'curb') but it's illegal to cross a red light, even if moving out of the way of an ambulance, fire truck, etc, so they probably didn't know what to do. It's illogical.

  • Just a couple of informative facts for those intent on debating it.

The car: Ford Mondeo Estate, Advanced Paramedic Response Car belonging to Dublin Fire Brigade. Every member of DFB is also a Paramedic or EMT and DFB provide the main frontline Ambulance Service for Dublin.

The siren is a HAZTEC, as is the lightbar, most commonly used by both DFB and An Garda Síochána, Irish Police.

  • anyone else see the "FIRE" text on the front?

  • wow with that driving ill be sure to die. i'm better off jumping in some ones car and telling them DRIVE TO THE HOSPITAL NOWWWWWW lol

  • how in the fuck is this little wagon gonna save someone, theres no room for shit. unless you get a BUICK ROADMASTER

  • @KrAxRACING It's an advanced paramadic unit. The idea being to get a first responder to scene as quickly as possible and follow up with an ambulance if needed. They have most drugs and equipment an ambulance has crammed in there, just bar the stryker stretcher.

  • It looked like they had to back out. Do they not pull into their spots so that they can just go out, or were they doing a U-turn?

  • @ModernGeek U-turn. They don't park up on-street to await a callout, it's back to the station each time.

  • What kind of siren brand do they use in this video? Federal Signal, Whelen, some thing else?

  • @wodanowitz not every siren is made in the USA ;) It's a HAZTEC.

  • @stedon101 ... thanks for the info, will google HAZTEC ... sounds very good!

  • i drive a red ambulance car in south wales as soon as i get fotage on here i'll post it

  • @egosumultimaton wow is that u? i've seen it being driven about in the newport, cardiff area is it part of the ambulance service or private?

  • did you see the garda jeep in the right lane at 00:39

  • dd you see the garda (police) jeep at 1:11 at the right lane?!

  • Great light array

  • Urm how is it adavanced?

  • @Vesivian Think carefully..... Perhaps the paramedic has had Advanced Training? You dont need to be a genius to work that out..... Damn some people are stupid.

  • @MojoMadnessUK that doesn't make the vehicle advanced.

  • @Aanthanur I didn't say it did.... Think of it like Advanced Paramedic, Vehicle

The person driving the Vehicle is an Advanced Paramedic

It's not a Paramedic driving an Advanced Vehicle

  • the best siren ever !!!

  • This is Ridiculous. dublin fire brigade as well as tackling fires also run paramedic and advanced paramedic crews thats all you need to know stop comparing us to america nobody gives a shit

  • wow look at those cars yield to emergency vehicles. amazing.

  • @knpdyeballarice well, i was amazed that they did it so slowly and not in advance. thats what we do here

  • lol, there's a reason firetrucks backup into the station every time they return... this guy didn't read the manual...

  • I'm not trying to be a smart ass i'm really not but why isn't the paramedic in an ambulance?

  • @Iismez

Well in USA, its quite often that ambulances don't have Paramedics, but instead have EMT's. If the call needs Advanced Life Support (ALS) staff than a paramedic may come in a vehicle such as this to upgrade them.

  • @MedicPatriot Makes sense, i'm really new to the EMS system so i'm not debating your expertise, my question stems from where i am( South Carolina) rescue sqauds run a driver who MAY be an EMR, usaually just has a CPR card, and an EMT-B, but paid services run EMT and Medic out of our fire houses, so even if you call for ALS, you get an ambulance.

  • @Iismez

Here paid companies USUALLY, but not always, are staffed medic level. Volunteer companies are staffed anything from BLS, BLS with IV capabilities, EMT-I or EMT-P. It depends who is available at the volunteer companies. If a BLS unit decides its an ALS call, they request ALS. Sometimes that ALS will be a medic unit and sometimes it will be a chase car like you see in the video.

  • pvvbnl[ill.lkkllgtyyyyyyyyyyyyhhjjjjjjb btj

  • pvvbnl[ill.lkkll

  • they sound exactly like the NYC sirens

  • wow that is by far the ugliest emergency response vehicle I have ever seen from the body to the paint job

  • man that is by far the ugliest emergency vehicle I have ever seen in my life

  • Why don´t they park their car in the right position?

  • its a fast responce fire ! not paramedic

  • I just LOVE that lightbar!

  • cool car, but i prefer our turbo diesel f-250's here in Florida

  • @TheBillsAreDue the bills are not due.

  • @TheBillsAreDue Same engine (roughly), just a smaller 2 Litre Turbo Diesel

  • the lights barely flash on that vehicle.

  • @ryanmillerpimpslaps cameras dont pick up strobes well. its a well known problem all over the youtube community.

  • the lights barely flash on that vehicle.

  • im in the nypd and i pulled that over its a taxi in descize

  • What do u mean with all amber light are taxi light?

  • The sound is epic. Way cooler than the German one...

  • I wanna staff the advanced paramedic vehicle!

Is AP like the US title "Critical care Paramedic"?

  • What is the vehicle they pass in 0:44? Looks like another emergency vehicle..and what's with all the vehicles with amber lightbars???

  • I think it may be a taxi of some sort. Maybe for wheel-chair users.

  • @LeSedici it was

  • amber is volunteer if their city doesnt allow red or blue

  • Its a taxi

  • We don't have the luxury of having lights on our pov's over here like you do in America. Amber lights in this country are for construction traffic and motorway maintainance and the like, not emergency services voluntary or not. Ireland..emergency service=blue lights

  • damn, some volunteers can even run full code with red and blue and siren over here, way different there

  • @386obc wish it was like it here....

  • nope...it's a taxi

  • @pcjoel999 @ 44secs its a garda car. me from ireland. i know.

  • @traineespark i know that at 44 secs it is a police car. I was not talking about that car. I was talking about the car at 23 secs....that is a taxi!

  • yup and i bet is a black driver on it which makes it worse :)))

  • indeed its a garda car

  • All the amber "lightbars" are taxi signs, thats all. ;)

  • The vehicle they pass @ 0:44 is a police car, and the vehicles with amber lightbars are taxis.

  • Thats right. Its a small little Ford Fiesta

  • @LeSedici its a taxi

  • @LeSedici police car.

  • Comment removed

  • @LeSedici the other EV is a Garda (Police) car...amber ligtbars are in fact yellow, and they're taxis. Light on means for hire, light off means hired.

  • @stedon101 so garda means police in that country? the funny thing is the security company i work for in canada is named "garda", which country is this and what language?

  • @LeSedici - The amber light bars are actually taxi signs. They're wide on one of the Dublin companies.

  • would be interesting to see it drive on o'connel street during rush hour...

  • Dublin Fire Brigade operate these cars from Tara Street Fire Station in the City Centre. Unfortunatley they are very seldom on the road, they are mainly used when training new APs for the HSE and DFB. Other than that they tend to sit idle, its a pity as they could be used to great effect in a full time capacity.

  • in fact there is a AP on the car most days. they are running from the OBI thats where their offices are.

  • IN FACT, your wrong, their training center is in the OBI. On a VERY seldom occasion they can dispatch an instructor from the OBI in a car but as I said this is very very seldom. The crying shame is that the APs provided by DFB don't even carry Morphine so they cant practice their full range of skills.

  • The cars base is the obi and they are dispatched into standby positions around the city (i.e. Tara street) in the mornings, and the AP's carry a range of cardiac drugs including morphine and aspirin. AP's have a larger range of skills that EMT'S and paramedics don't for example they use a manual defib when emt's use a semi automatic defib which im sure you know already other wise you wouldn't be talking to me.

  • Ok, lets break this down simply for you...

    1) Dispatching a car to a station in the "mornings" on "most days" does not constitute a full time cover.

    2) Im fully aware of what drugs an AP carries, however, the DFB paramedics dont carry morphine.

    3) Morphine isnt a cardiac drug.

    4) Aspirin isnt an AP only drug, it can be given by any CFR, OFA, EFR, EMT, Paramedic or AP.

    5) When your going to get into a war of words with someone regarding the provision of EMS in Dublin, do your homework first

  • EMT's in my state can only administer glucose and oxygen...it sucks. And First Responders can only administer oxygen @ 15Liters via NRB. Is that national?

  • Cool Car but slow flash lights

  • Cool shot. There isn't many from rooftops like that.

  • wow! what about reading the description before posting senseless comments?

this is in ireland and the vehicle is definitely a paramedic response car of the dublin fire brigade.

  • lol no kidding and look on the hood of the car there is another hint as to what it is

  • @wwwrescue911de im from ireland and thats 100% true ps iv been thinking on joining the garda what do u think is it good/bad

  • @wwwrescue911de your right, but its not a paramedic, its most likely a Doctor / first aid

  • @POLICEMADgeko7844 It's an advanced paramedic. Not a paramedic, not a doctor, not an EMT, an AP.

  • @BlimstersCp this is a fast response paramedic

  • it is in fact a advanced paramedic car. As far as i know dublin has 2 and they run from the O'brien center.

  • @BlimstersCp Its Not In Britain!!!

All Dublin Firefighters are trained Paramedics, some are advanced Paramedics. This is their Rapid Response Vehicle.

  • @BlimstersCp This is an advanced paramedic vehicle, all Dublin firemen are trained to minimum paramedic standard. And video of Rep of Ireland, not Britain

  • @BlimstersCp You're right. However, Ireland isn't part of Britain, and uses a system alot like America (fire brigade provides the ambulances and paramedics).

  • @BlimstersCp Do your research numnuts.

  • @BlimstersCp

    Haha, epic FAIL!

  • @BlimstersCp "britain don't have firefighters who are paramedics"....yes we do

  • @BlimstersCp Britain also doesnt have Dublin, Ireland in it, brainiac

  • @BlimstersCp So

  • @BlimstersCp yea... I thin the rescue911 knows better than you.

  • @BlimstersCp And so what??? It's moronic to have firefighters that are paramedics because you have to work and study more basically for almost the same kind of pay!!! That's moronic!!!

  • Hellz yeah american made sirens.... got to love them and they're easier to hear.... believe me.

  • ther u go europeans adopting american used sirens!

  • they have american sirens but they dont no how to use them properly hahaha! take it from NYPD haha

  • That Siren Is Quite Cool I like the sound of it

  • @nickyd653 yea its very very common in the US for ambulances, police, and oother emergency units

  • its not just US emergency units that use it for example scottish emergency units use it two thats why i like it

  • @nickyd653 i know thats y i said "american used" ... jus wuznt 100% sure of which other countries use it

  • @defender195 i have to remind you this is a swedish siren, and not the Whelen 295 series you are thinking about.. I know it sounds just the same but its not a Whelen, its a swedish siren, cant remember the name :-)

  • @Olivere118 oh wow my bad then! haha they do sound almost identicle!

  • Give 'em some airhorn and phaser at that intersection. Theyll move.

  • you have to use your airhorn button next time to get these assholes out of the way

  • i always do

otherwise i give em a blast from the good old

Real airhorns on top of the rig

  • good man people have no respect for an emergency vehicles today you hear a siren you move thats what I always do be safe out there

  • nice lights to the rear of the vehicle (blue lights beside the number plate)

  • are you stupid or what? i said the officers drive renault espace. but THIS is a ford mondeo paramedic car and NOT an officers car. learn reading before posting.

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hly shit

  • just wanted to say this is a mondeo not a espace hahaha

  • whoa a standard siren! i am used to the we wo sound in Ireland

  • it is an Advanced Paramedic car. The reason it says fire is becuase it is run by Dublin Fire Briagde who also operate the emergency ambulance service for Dublin. all DFB Ambulances also carry the sign Fire - EMS. You are wrong do a bit of reasearch

  • you are completely wrong. this is one of two paramedic cars in dublin. it also says "advanced paramedic vehicle" at the rear. the officers drive Renault Espace, not Ford Mondeo.

  • If im wrong, then why does the vehicle say FIRE on the bonet... but i can see your point

  • the vehicle belongs to the dublin fire brigade. but it is used by the paramedics.

  • Dont Worry mate I Check ed It out On google...

Dublin Ambulance & Fire Service Are Joined Together

  • @MrShadow281 Dublin firefighters are all paramedics also and operate the ambulance service as well as fire brigade, wiki Dublin Fire Brigade and you will see

  • @MrShadow281 in ireland its the same as america kinda. The ambulance crews are part of the fire brigade. You look at a NYC ambulance. It says NYFD New York Fire Dept.

  • wtf do u talk? a espace??? this is a mondeo no matter what u say U ARE WRONG, PRODUCER

  • Aber man weiß daß was kommt :)

  • ich finde, dass die art von sirene total schwierig zu orten ist - man weiß nicht woher es kommt

  • Hasn't he heard of a siren change?

  • obviously not lol =p

  • Not every person changes the siren depend swhat they feel comfortable with

  • Nice! Was the one without equipment on a Police Car?

  • really? we have colour tv's now 2.

  • Haha and women that cause hassle, thank god we always had the hot iron to sort that out!

  • lawl

  • cool i didnt kno they used the american style siren in ireland

  • Yes usually a Whelen 295HF100 siren fitted to all DFB vehicles
