i didn't i kinda just used the chords and picked some notes. the verse was a G major chord, and walk the bassline down C, B, A, F#. The chorus is Em, C, x3 then Em, D, C.

Thanks man. I picked up that Audio-Technica mic, a couple cables, 2 stands, the pop filter, and a M-Audio DI for about 450. There's another AT mic out of the frame that's picking up the guitar, but i already had that one, its nothing special, i think it was about 70.
