Deal extreme doesn't carry this wavelength. They carry 473nm, which is a "true blue." This is a Blu-Ray laser, or 405nm, which appears violet to the human eye. True blue are very expensive by comparison. Anyways, DealExtreme lasers get taken by customs now if you live in the U.S. and want anything >5mW. So basically, don't go to deal extreme.
Look, no offense, but you really don't know what you're talking about. There is an entire forum of people dedicated to building lasers and comparing products from different companies. 95% of the time, if you order a 5mW laser from DX, you're going to get one MORE powerful than what you ordered - all the way up to 30mW. Conversely, higher mW rated ones tend to produce less than advertised. The actual measurement per model is readily available on forums.
I've had a 50mW green DE laser for over a year. I've tested it via a coherent thermopile meter as putting out an actual 50mW. I've dropped it on concrete countless times, and it continues to work to this day. Several of my friends have them with the same results. "Pot modded" or not, they are reliable. I haven't tested higher mW rated ones, but I can say that much. You simply cannot buy them in the states anymore.
where do i pick the Laser up at or Can i just Youse a Regular DVD Laser is Red and will lite a match and pop a ballon And to Create Blue i have to have either a POS Blueray player or Ps3 or Xbox 360 and swipe the laser out of it Rite!

How did you get the room "foggy"? Did you smoke there untill you coul'nt see your feet?
VanisherXP 3 years ago
I did a short spray of a fog machine. I sprayed for about a second and then turned it off, and that was all that was needed.
