@vanthiectu He doesn't fight in MMA. He uses Shaolin Kung Fu. There's different styles within Shaolin Kung Fu as well as other forms of Kung Fu. Even Bruce Lee developed his own unique style of Kung Fu. What I learned is almost the same thing as what is shown here in this movie. Shaolin kung fu. Only difference is I actually learned it from a person who passed it down through their family, not from a martial arts school.

Tarantino toyed with the idea that Pai Mei is indeed real (and possibly immortal) and is retired. So it would make sense for a retired bad guy to train hitmen and assassins to become more efficient murderers.

A good guy would never train Bill, Beatrix or Elle.
