I was raised a Jw, but left the truth at the age of 18, I'm going to a funeral of one of my mums friends tomorrow who died last week at the age of 47 of cancer, leaving behind a 15 year old son. I knew her when I was little. I knew the songs had changed since I left so I wanted to see what was what so I could join in tomorrow. Have just cried buckets at this, it brings it all back to me. Though I don't go to meetings anymore it's all still there in my soul, I just have some issues to overcome.
I have had much heartache in the last 3 months. Two of our beloved and kind Brothers passed away. And just yesterday my friend of 40 years died. I am hurting and crying, but I know Jehovah will catch all my tears of pain and turn them to joy.
I honestly don't know how the brothers and sisters sang this song and remained composed...everytime I hear it, I blub uncontrollably. I have not yet lost anyone near to me in death, but this is such a powerful and emotive song, I can't help but cry. I love Jehovah so much.
Having been diagnosed with cancer in April of this year this song now has special meaning for me. It has strengthened my relaitionship with Jehovah whom I love so much
Such a beautiful song, I heard it for the 1st time yesterday and cried for my friend who went to sleep in early August. I'm sorry I never got to say goodbye, but he was a fine brother, elder, husband & father, he was my friend who never judged me when he seen me throgh the years & I was not baptized yet, 20 years passed, I finally did it, he was happy foe me whe he heard, but I never saw him as a baptized witness & shake his hand & thank him. But I will in Paradise. For Steve Amador
My dad just passed away yesterday, Ruben Sr. I got to spend the last month and a half with him, while he was in pain. He no longer has pain, now my family and I have to work hard to be with him and all of our loved ones that we have lost. Jehovah will take care of us!
We sang this song just yesterday, and the moment we were done we heard a loving sister of ours had passed away a few days ago. Every time i hear the song it has much meaning, but when someone dies in your midst, it gets so much real how bad the world is. But we as JW's have the uppermost faith in Jehovah that he will ressurect those who we've loved and lost.
we are supposed to sing this song tonight for the theocratic ministry school...its hard, i cry every time i hear it. we played this song last year when my big sis died... RIP Devorah Rae Brown, i love you!
My mother Vina Rushton of Elliot Lake, passed away on Dec 23,2009. I live in London so I had her Memorial here. We had the technology to tie in with Elliot Lake by phone, so she actually had a joint memorial. Non believing family members and friends were invited to join in the service by telephone. At our Kingdom Hall, Oxford Park, we joyfully sang this song for the first time. It will also have such special meaning as I hold dear to my heart, the prospect of seeing my mother again.
This song is just what I needed to hear. (tho it makes me cry like a baby) We lost our dad two years ago. . I dont know what I would do without the resurrection hope. The void is every present, and it sure brings home the need we have for Jehovahs Kingdom.
I remember this song back in 2009 International Convention in Hawaii... it was when everybody else entered the Main Doors on the last day, and this song was playing-i had tears of joy!!!
wow brothers all i have to say is wow because its like about a month ago my best friend died and i cant help but think about is her and my aunt kim and how much i miss them o soo much and i pray that i will be able to see them again and pray that i will be in the new world.
My Dad died 2 months ago, before he died I got to tell him about the paradise, and he said in his weak voice, "I hope it's true" . I have hope toward God Jehovah that he will see any good in his heart and Resurrect him home to me again.
The hope of the resurrection keeps us strong in this wicked world, Jehovah give us strength as we live here, meantime, our grandparents and loved ones and lie in wait to hear the voice of our God Jehovah
I really do miss my grandfather. I never got to see him at all. He died before I was born of cancer. I love you. I miss my greatgrammy! I watched her die. It just makes me tear up when i think of them. I love you, and I miss you. Hope to see you in the new world. :'( :) I love you.
This song is very beautiful!Wednesday,a sister died, and this song was sung at her memorial. It was very beautiful, even if I didn't know her, because I go with my mom in Spanish. But this song and number 134 are one of my favorites because they remind me that soon I will be able to know all my relatives and I'll get to see all my friends from the congregation.I want this day to come very soon because I have only 1 grandma,my other grandma&grandpa's I never knew.i hope this day can come very soon.
this is shuch a pretty song i cry every time i hear this it just makes me think about my uncle cause when he died we play this song and it so hard to listen to it but it so pretty and i know that im going to see him again in the new system LOVE U UNCLE :)
I dedicate this song to my grandmother who passed away on friday. We will have this song at her funeral on friday to come. She loved this sond deeply from her heart, and so do i. It`s gonna be hard to sing this song at her funeral, but she loved this song, so we have to deal with it. She is safe now while she is resting in Jehovah`s memory.
What a wonderful day it will be when EVERY living creature, in heaven and on earth, will be a praiser of this great God, One who cares about us so deeply, who made the wonderful provision of the ransom, so that we could enjoy life the way it was truly meant to be enjoyed. (Rev. 4:11) Jehovah, our mere words are inadequate to express the magnitude of our love and appreciation for all that you have done in our behalf. Thank you for drawing us to you, and may we praise your great name forever.
I love this video, beautiful creations from all colors....and my favorite song... He will have a longing for the work of His own hand, so have faith and do not wonder... for our God can make us stand.... and we shall live forever as the work of His own hand...

Psalm 91:1 reads: "Anyone dwelling in the secret place of the Most High Will procure himself lodging under the very shadow of the Almighty One."
If we die, this is where we want to be, in ( the secret place) Jehovah's memory .That is the only way we be assure of a resurrection.
