she is not a dramatic soprano. she can reach Ab5, but that is not a part of her tessitura, which is her normal singing voice. she is a real contralto, her vocal profile. again, range does not classify voices. its the timbre, tone, thickness, and agility. jaya will have to exhaust her range to sing this song (and so she did). but to other singers with the same range she has and thinner tessitura, this might just be a walk in the park. rememeber nina sang this easily while sitting?
