Right now Nadal is better but Federer is greater. Nadal may have the better of the h2h but Fed has more GS, more GS finals, SF and consecutively. He spent more time as No1, just a week off Sampras. He is the only man in his age group still threatening for GS battling with people 5+ years younger, in the prime of their careers. Ludicrous talent.

Nadal plays impossible shots ever single match. Federer is a bore compared to the energy Nadal brings to the court. Nadal is like what 'The Rock' brought to wrestling.

Federer is great but in my opinion he doesn't truly appreciate what he has. Nadal has never even smashed his racket- he says it's because there are people who don't have the opportunity to own one. Nadal is the nicer guy: there's no doubt about it.

As long as Nadal continues flattening his shots, decreasing the movement on court, particularly hardcourts, he may become number one with longevity. The past year has flattered Federer somewhat, if he continues to dominate the slams this year I believe it will be confirmation of his greatness.

For me, Nadal is the best! He is 5 years younger than Fedz and has beaten Federer 13 times, Federer has beaten him just the 7 times. Taking nothing away from Federer, with the genious shots he hits and the elegance of his play, but for me, I think Nadal has it all ahead of him still and has achieved so much already at such a young age. Nadal will get his French and Wimbledon titles back in 2010. I hope the best rivarly of all time in Sport face each other in the French and Wimbledon final again
