BREAKING NEWS!!! I got pulled over by the COPS, handcuffed & put in the back of the car. I still am feeling that part of the tribute. Stevie was fantastic. I thought he said Michael wrote this song and the first one he sang (From Poetic Justice ) Touched me deeply. I liked "When I Go" back in the day from Stevies' (Fulfilliness album?) , but I thought it sounded a bit morbid, reminded me of death.. Strange how things happen.

Stevie was refering to the song he wrote called 'I can't help it' which Michael recorded for the Off The Wall album in 1979. He played the piano in the melody of 'I can't help it' before singing I never dreamed you'd leave in summer...

@ tua01199 - no no, Stevie wrote and/or co-wrote all songs. It's just that the song (the first one he played the piano instrumental of, called "Can't Help It") was written and composed by him, and he gave it to MJ to sing for Off The Wall, and he loved how it sounded.

just hearing it brings me to tears and gives me goosebumps. An amazing tribute to him-one that i look forward to seeing the end of when you are ready. I had heard the George Micheal version many times before and loved the soul of the song- the heartbreaking lyrics, but i can honestly say that the song came alive with meaning for me while watching the memorial yesterday and now by watching this remarkable tribute to him.
