  • @elkupong ... What's eatin' you, bro? Bad Hair day... or, maybe it's a case of chronic No Hair Days? Hehehehehe.

  • love and good wishes x

  • Water water see the water flow Glancing dancing see the water flow O wizard of changes water water water Dark or silvery mother of life Water water holy mystery heaven’s daughter Wizard of changes, teach me the lesson of flowing God made a song when the world was new Water’s laughter sings it through O, wizard of changes, teach me the lesson of flowing God made a song when the world was new Water’s laughter sings it through Wizard of changes, water, water, water
  • @hjsmalie One day I hope you will play in the river of the waters of life. I live between two magnificent rivers in the Malaysian rainforest! :-)

  • fabulous~thankyou with love

  • @iamearthbornami Good to connect with a True One! Re-reading the comments here was most heartwarming. You are all the ones who shall repopulate the ascended earth :-)

  • Wizards indeed! where is poetry like this? I hate to sound like an old fart, but no one else had the balls and halos to write this amazing music. Robin and Mike deserve Knighthood and a million dollars for they joy they gave us. "God made a song when the Earth was new, water's laughter sings it grew..."

  • This video sings LOVE!

  • Indeed! And the swan represents the graceful serenity of living limitless love and eternal bliss (with occasional vacations on Earth just for the sheer excitement of it :-)

  • Thanks for summing up my life! Cygnus is also the god of balance....

peace & energy & long life to you and yours

    cygnus

  • pine flat

  • One of their most magical songs

  • water...... teach me the lessons of flowing!

  • My footprint in the sand, 30 years later

  • At 57, I have enjoyed their music long and often. They were among the best..... and are still.

  • As a pretty serious student of literature in English in the sixties, these guys were audio dessert. I wasn't ivory tower(Yeats' tower on romantic days)and Mingus and the Kinks were my meat and potatoes. But no one else had minstrel poetry down like these guys. Not even Donovan, whose best stuff is in the Woody Guthrie league.

  • this is magic the isb are nowhere as good in their present reincarnation

    in my opinion

  • I don't think they have an incarnation any more - but their old music still sounds great floating in the blue. Sadly or not, they couldn't avoid getting old.

  • i live out in the shires, literally. i live in the countryside of the midlands and this song every time invokes the outdoors while i'm sat inside. Loved this song for a long while. Band composed of the Fae.

  • I put my video up and *then* discovered others already on the tube! I had no idea anyone in the States had ever heard of the ISB. But luckily all 3 versions are different. Yours is beautiful, a visual poem indeed.

Did you edit your audio? It's different from mine.

    namaste

  • Hey-ho, robotics1x! What makes you think i live in the US? I was born and have lived most of my life in Malaysia (no kidding :-) Discovered ISB and Hangman's Beautiful Daughter quite by chance in 1967 or 1968... nice to hear from you! Yes, I did edit the audio to keep the video short.

  • Starmandala wrote to me: Aha! The urban version :-) Come visit the virtual Magick River @ magickriver(dot)net!

This made me think, yes it was all urban and mainly indoors. So what was that still of a river doing in the middle of it? I just *had* to re-edit it and with #2 daughters permission uploaded a new version. As for your version I think you rightly edited out the sound of the rain chimes because they sound so indoors but in mine they fit ok. As for magick river, you are so lucky. namaste

  • Hey! I live in the states and I lived and breathed the ISB for years and years. There seriously wasn't any other music for me. And I had lots of friends who felt the same way. All we did was listen to this band. Still love em to this day, always will.

  • Water water heavens daughter.

    How true!

  • The Incredible String Band was mostly Robin Williamson and Mike Heron, two cosmic folkies from England who may be best described as science-fiction pagans. They were a strong influence on me in my late teens and early 20s :-)

  • Robin and Mike are still producing interesting stuff!

    Namashte

  • The gentlemen in question are infact from Scotland,Edinburgh.;)

To say they are English is like saying Malaysia is Singapore...lol!

    :P

  • This is how life is supposed to be. Thanks for posting a glimpse of the golden age. :o)

  • Great video - fits with the song perfectly.
