  • Excellent video. As stated by others, incredible history, I did not know there was that many changes between 1911 and the a1. Please keep making these, they are alot of fun to watch.

  • damn! now you've made me want to go buy a classic M1911A1 modern clone. (can't afford the real deal!)

  • @gunrobot There are some nice M1911A1's being made. thanks for watching!

  • Thank you for your vids. The historical facts & the pistols (orders, markings, when, what took place, etc.) is absolutely first rate. I have 2 series 70 & 2 series 80. I have one series 70 with a collet bushing (which I hate) but is in excellent condition) with the exception that someone before me changed the rear sights to adjustable. Should I change it out to "make it" original. Should I change out the collet bushing? Sincerely, JAMES.

  • @buzzclark I have been told that the only time it is advisable to change the pistol is when you are certain of how it shipped. Some people will think they know what is right and actually make a mistake. I have a trigger change to do because someone "made it right". Some changes are impossible to reverse if machining has been done. Thanks for watching!

  • Wow! I was hanging on every word! It just keeps getting better & better. Keep these coming, I can hardly wait for the next one.
