hey, i am so amazed about what madrix can do to a matrix of led's, im a mobile dj and am planning to use a matrix of chauvet colorpalette as a back drop for the dj. i was wondering atleast how many colorpalettes should i get? is 4 enough to visualize ellaborate effects or better bitmap, video, text messages??if not... how many do you recommend?

Yes, If you start MADRIX you can select the bitmap effect. You can load gif, jpg, png, tif ... also supported is animated gif :-)

but what I mean is can you take an analog video signal from a vide game console like a playstation 2 or an xbox and run it through this rig and have it display the game your playing on the console, do a video on that

also this feature is provided by MADRIX, believe it or not :-) ... Start MADRIX, select the video effect inside this effect is a capture button. You can use a capture card like a tv card for the input of the video signal of your ps3, wii, xbox 360 ...

so it doesnt have a converter thingie to change the analog line out signal to the digital signal needed by the matrix, BTW i dont have this unit im only asking, and i have this USB capture device that i use to record gaming videos and video and audio from my playstation 2 to my pc would that work? it basically turns my pc into a monitor for my games

its very easy to test this: Download MADRIX for free at our website and start the SCE Video effect, inside this effect press the Captur button. If you see your USB capture device inside this list, your device is supported. BTW You don't have to buy MADRIX, you can test this with the DEMO VERSION :-)
