I don't know how far ahead you may have this story planned, but one idea could be when they have the wedding and Nick is one of the best men and Kylie is the maid of honor, while she's in town working on the wedding, she decides to move back in with Nolie and her and Nicks passions for each other reignite. Now that they are older, they are more mature and things work out. I know it's kind of vague, but that's the best I can come up with at 11:15ish at night.
