I don't understand why people don't understand the "hold your applause to the end" rule... I mean, here he is singing beautifully and these fans are screaming over the vocals. Sure go nuts during the get up and dance songs..but stuff like this you have to learn to pipe down and scream your head off AFTERWARDS!
Haha. Yes he does. If you haven't already, you should check out him singing "Collapsible plans" in France. He wrote it in collaboration with some others, I believe is how the story goes. Anyway...talk about brilliant.
i don't really like it because you can't hear the performer, and that's why i go, to hear JASON!! i don't really mind though but it does get a little frustrating
well, i love when everybody sings, and i the think the peformers love too, because it proves that there is a kind of feedback, you know? i love it. i don't care about the videos. i go to a concert, as you've said, to hear the performer, not to film. i prefer to live the moment and enjoy everything (wich is one of many of HIS ideals). i love when people sing, i love when HE sings, i love him even when his mouth is shut up. i just love him. i simply, simply adore him.
There is a time to sing along and a time to be quiet. During a typical chorus, that's fine to sing along. During this opera part where the performer is doing extraordinary things with their voice, that's when everyone should shut up. They can cheer AFTER that part is done, not during it. People can stay home and sing along to a cd, but you come to a show to hear those spontaneous moments of "amazingosity." Yes, I know all about the wordplay as well! :p
sure it's true! when HE was singing opera, i wasn't singing along. xD
if I cheer? oh, yes, i do. but only in the end of the song. i'm not the kind of person who interrupts HIS singing with, for example, OMG JASON!!. xD
but well, it's so funny when you and your friends scream OMG JASON! before he had arrived, and everybody looks at the stage and no one's there! or when you scream SING! SING! SING! to the sound-checker. xDD
God, yes. I agree. A lot of my videos suck because of people yelling in the background-- especially in ballads. It's never taken seriously when you hear someone scream, "Lyke, OMG, Jason!!!!!!"
does anyone knows the lyrics for this opera part?

This is a LIVE show and people whine about audience participation..... If you've watched enough videos of his live shows then you'd know HE loves it.
