Gasol led the grizzlies. He is the all time recordman in the franchise. And he led them to 3 playoff apperances(only 3 in memphis' history) but he had a scrub team around him, same as KG. Thats why KG and Gasol never passed the first round. KG passed it once, when they had all stars, Casell and Sprewell. KG only could win a ring with the BIg Three. Same that Gasol with Kobe. Gasol IS underrated, but you're going a bit to far saying he's better than KG. Career-Stat wise, KG is better than Gasol in every catagory except for blocks, where gasol is better by 0.1. KG is more versatile because he's much faster and can shoot the open 3 and has a better jump shot.

Until KG got hurt last year no one in their right mind called Gasol better, so if KG was ovverated, Gasol flat out sucked. Neither is true, so why say KG is/was overrated. During the bulk of Pau's career, he's been 4th at best behind KG, Duncan and Dirk.

Lakers, since Shaq left, weren't able to win anything until Pau landed there (3 finals in 3 years, 2 rings). I'm not expecting you to admit Gasol is better, but numbers are the best evidence.
