Il faut aussi tenir en compte qu'elle est finlandaise, et comme pour la plupart c'est elle qui écrit les paroles, peut être qu'elle se sent également à l'aise en anglais qu'en français comme ni l'un ni l'autre sont son langue maternelle. Cela dit, comme une américaine francophone, j'aimerais bien entendre plus de musique de ce genre chanté en français, mais je trouve les chansons de "The do"s sont si belles qu'elles récompensent la lâcheté de l'anglais !!

On peut être artiste et chanter volontairement en anglais pour des questions de rythme (bcp plus facile qu'en français) et de compréhension des paroles déjà en Europe puis dans d'autres pays - sans aucune arrière-pensée envers les US... Bref l'anglais c'est pas forcément une banalité :) Au contraire la France attendrait d'un français d'être fermé et ne chanter que en français ? Ca ce serait être fermé je pense.

Hard to be a french group and singing in French ! The only known outside France are those who sing in English :o(

C'est incroyable comme on a de bons groupes chantant en anglais (Phœnix, Air, The Do, Justice, Daft Punk , etc), alors que ceux qui chantent en français ont tant de mal à sortir... Dur d'être un groupe français et de chanter en français quand même ! On est vraiment trop cons chez nous. Y'a quelque chose dans le système qu'il faudrait revoir...
