It's this game called "cracker" or "cookie", where guys masturbate in a circle. The one that didn't come, or came last, has to eat the cookie/cracker! Disgusting, i know, but fun too : )
nah, you're probaly right, i don't think it is played that often.. But i've heard of it though, and some guys in my class once played it.. but the guy who had to eat it, got sick and puked! Part because he was drunk, part because of the cracker.. Truely diqusting!
you say it doesn't happen often but then you know people who have done it... :O As an American, I'm shocked but I know Europens are very liberal and very open-minded when it comes to sex which would make most Americans extremely uncomfortable... :O
haha, i'm surprised by the global stereoview the world seems to have on europe:D but it's cool.. i'm sure we from europe is a little bit more openminded.. but some young people i know, are very shy about that stuff. it's kinda hard to fit in when everybody else is so liberal, but eventually you learn to deal with it : ) i did, and after enough time i couldn't help but be a tad liberal too..! what is it like where you live?
hmm...that is an interesting point of view actually and a truthful one I think...Where I live...well, I'm from a pretty conservative area in Southern California which border Orange County, which is the most conservative county on the West Coast...so people have this sense, especially the older generations that sex is sorrt of taboo, especially teenage sex before marriage...
most American parents want their children too wait til marriage to have sex...I know that sounds stange to you, I know because when I told my German friends about that, they thought it was the most horrific thing they ever heard... lol :)
Well, I know, but stll, you can't stop all teenage sex, or stop people from having sex before mariage. I know teenagers from America, and a lot of them(not only the very liberal ones, the "conservative" ones) do not follow the rules thier parents made would have liked them to follow. Am I making any sense? I'm a bit tireed and my english sucks when I'm tired.. But your right. I do think it's a bit weird, but then again, it's probaly just because we're from different cultures...-
That's all very true...I know my parents want me to wait til I'm married because my parents, like most American adults, are very religious but I don't think I will wait til marriage and I don't think my parents did either...my mom gave birth to my older brother when she was 16 I think...Anyway, you're right about the "conservative" ones because I used to go to a private Christian school for 3 years and many kids were already having sex but it wasn't something people talked about...
It's not just a cultural thing but a religious thing also...also, why do you think waiting til marriage is so wrong? A long time ago in Europe, this was actually believed to be the right thing to do...
I know that it is religious thing, and that is one of the reasons I don't do it. If I was religious and believed that it was the right thing to do, I would do it, cause I don't think it's wrong.. i just don't think it's what I believe. I don't believe in god at all, to be honest.. But I believe in some kind of greater power.
I know it sounds silly but the American public wont accept the European way on the idea of teaching sex in our schools so they teach safe sex and abstinance from sex. They tell us "you should wait til marriage to have sex but because we know you wont, we have to teach you the safe way. Oh, and here's a free condom" that is the policy and that's as far as American parents will alow the government to do. So the government only directs a certain path because that's what the voter says to follow.
And, if you ask a european, he/she'll most likely say, that the whole no-sex-before-mariage- thing, is totally bollocks! But, a typically american, would understand the concept and believe that it's the other path, that's wrong..
Even though Americans believe the right thing to do is to wait til marriage to have sex, like it says in the Bible, but most people don't follow it...and that's right about Europeans because when my German friend Marc stayed with us for 4 weeks this August, he saw a commercial on TV, sponsored by the U.S. government, which told parents to tell their kids it's better to wait til marriage to have sex, and Marc was shocked and said a commercial like that would never appear on European TV...
I think that the reason he was shocked was that almost no eorupean goverment would encourage ppl to follow any kind of certain path. I dunno if you understand me, but I mean that commercials that tells people to either be christians or not gay, or somethin like that, wouldn't be shown cause most european goverments, have rules against tht kinda stuff, due 2 laws of discrimination and rights to be who U are and do what U want. And I think that sex bfore marrie is taboo: done but not talked about.
I can understand you perfectly and your English is really good but the U.S. government does not ask people to follow a certain path like you said...The U.S. government has never said to be straight or Christian and the government's stance on abstinance on the sex issue with teens has nothing to do with religion but of cultural values and what American parents want and expect the government to do on the issue of teen sex...
It's like they're giing us mixed messages, like we shouldn't have sex before marriage but then they give us condoms in school...which doesn't make much sense I guess they want us to be safe rather then sorry...About you not believing in God, I find that normal for many Europeans but not in the U.S. I have done research on religion in Europe and I know Denmark is a very socially secular country but yet your country has an established religion...while around 90% of Americans believe in God...
@caliguy92 I don't think it's a mixed message. Don't be promiscuous and use a condom every time. I think it's more of a public health issue rather than a religious one, with all the STDs going around. I'm almost 22 now, and growing up I don't think I knew anyone who stuck to the idea of waiting until marriage. I think it's normal for kids to start experimenting around 15 or 16 and regardless of what is told to them, they will still do it. It's more effective to promote condoms than abstinence.
