@TheF0etus Listen dude, I'm an enormous SP fan. Zeitgeist has some brilliant songs, American Gothic some outstanding ones. Corgan has, and always will, be one of my guitar-playing and songwriting heroes. Christ, I even bought the man's signature guitar!

All I'm saying is, the Pumpkins used to be the coolest band in the world to me. A balding 40 something with a failing voice and a leather dress writing songs for Guitar Hero doesn't quite match up to the original band in Siamese mode for me....

So how talented are you then? Have I seen your album anywhere? What was your first platinum album? Oh and what was your first #1 single? I do agree with you that it does take a bit of nerve to take a song that's already been immortalized with D'arcy as the singer and try to sing it himself, but he wrote it, and he can never play it again just because D'arcy doesn't want to play it with him? Kinda a ripoff imo.

That's not an argument. Just because I've never had a platinum album doesn't forbid me to pass judgment on other platinum albums. I've never baked a cake, so does that make it unreasonable to say "I don't like cake"? Of course not. Like you said, D'arcy immortalised this song so IMO, Billy playing it now after all that's happened leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Is that OK with you boss man, or do I need to write a song for someone, let them sing it, then do my own version before I can say that?

Actually there are 6 chords, and they are not that easy to pick out by ear. There are a couple versions of the tabs but the one that sounds closest (to me) is at azchords. Don't use the version that is all barred fifth chords, it's crap. And the ppl who were making fun of your question can get buggered cuz they don't know wtf they are talking about. Have fun :)
