Hi I have a q, Will it work on Vista? I used to play it on my windows Xp but have since got rid of that computer and havnt played MSTS for a looong time.
i only have the shinjuku japan route, NEC, and settle carlisle.......will it not work atall if i only have these 3 routes....also, how big is the file roughly?
The file is 61MB. This version does not require the 6 msts basic routes. Just Xtracks 3.20 and newroads. It has been uploaded to train-sim (. com), where it will be available tomorrow (or somewhat later this(!) week).
I haven't worked on the Northern Line the last two weeks, but the project is still alive. In two days, I will arrive in London for a short two day stay, and take a ride on the real Northern Line. When I get back, I plan to continue building the msts-route.
I estimate it will be uploaded to the internet somewhere in the next month.
It is the Northern Line for MSTS which I am building myself. The route will be released (freeware) in a few weeks time. This youtube-movie is one of three previews I've placed on youtube.

At the time, I did not create the 1995 stock trains yet. Those came later, wehen the Northern Line route for MSTS was completed.

There is only óne MSTS. msts2 has been canceled (again) due to the economic crises.

Yes, without Xtracks3.20 and newroads, you will get errors when trying to use the route.
I do not know whether they are available on UKTS, but I do know they are available on train-sim (. com)

You will need: all default 6 routes, Xtracks3.20 or higher, and Newroads.
The route will become available for download somewhere next week.

At least at train-sim, and probably on UKtrainsim.
You can follow the project in the MSTS section on railforums (co uk), topic "tube routes for msts".
