  • Why use an elevator when you could walk up the stairs as well ;)

  • mto foda!!!!!!!!!

  • that's so cool!! but why does the bed stay up for a few extra seconds??

  • I'm back down there for a service visit in a couple of weeks, so i'll try to get some video from the basement.

  • can u do a demo like i wanna see what it looks like under the stage

  • woah cool

  • does there have to be the sliding door and and i wanting the lift stop at at 3 ft and or 10ft can i do that

  • That's really impressive!

Does the round trap door have two different "covers"? Because the one shown here has another opening for the bed, instead the one opening up for the House Set in the other video of yours.

  • @adrummingman The bed trap is incorporated into the main trap, the tricky part is ensuring that the bed (which revolves with the house) lines up with the trap.

  • whats the lift company they used i need to know im doing a concert and we dont know where to order them from

  • @jackoooo43 the lift mechanisms were made by Delstar Engineering Ltd in the UK.

  • hey its jackoooo43 im in the usa how wood they ship it here and can people stand on these lifts or no

  • @jackoooo43 They are designed and made to customer specification and they can be shipped to USA, but I suspect it would be easier to use a local stage engineering company.

  • Do u know where i can find a company in the usa

  • @jackoooo43 The only US company I know of, i.e. with an international reputation is JR Clancy. However I'm sure that there must be many others, so I would think a bit of 'Googling' would find something more local to you.

  • if i go on google what would i search?? This video is amazing the lifts r great but what would i search on google

  • the door that opens is tht removable please write back

  • I watched the show in NYC. Loved the automation. How did you get the railing around the bed to drop down and keep the bed level with the stage? Was the bed on a seperate lift? If so what type? I couldn't tell. Also I just finished your book.

  • In London the bed is on a seperate hydraulic ram, I suspect that NYC is similar. Hope you liked the book.

  • Also how did you do the sunroof floor openings that drop down the same at front and back instead of the back dropping down first?

  • I watched "Billy Elliot" the other day. The staging looks great with it. :D

  • Are there any high schools with stages with trapdoors like this?

  • Doubt it. Too much money.

  • Lovin that accent

  • how did u get this stuff

  • we built this stuff for the uk production

  • This is better than any Thunderbirds Trapdoor (LOL)

  • As a member of the audience I applaud you for enhancing my "Billy Elliot" experience with these {for want of a better word} stage props. Well done.
