kathryn: the footage from ms. pohoomul was sent to me upon request, i filmed the rest.
laughing thunder: i had to black out the faces of the girls to protect their privacy, if potential employers etc. found out about their background they might be discriminated against.
nicki: yeah i probably could have jazzed it up a bit haha, i just thought i'd give it more of a documentary feel by leaving out music
Hi Esha! This really brings in the primary source and makes it more real. Although listening to the girls talk was intriguing, i think if you were to put some still shots of the building or some of the kids and a music layover it would keep the audience more captivated. Yes, i know youre intentions were a documentary, but it doesnt hurt to spice it up :P But it was powerful and moving :D
You have interviews! Wow. How were you able to interview them or is the footage from Apne Aap?
I looked at your Wiki. Again, WOW. It's great how thorough you are and take people from raising their awareness to showing them how they can make a difference.
thanks for the feedback!

I agree with the above, the use of actual first-hand interviews makes it REALLY convincing. Good job with the wiki too!

this is such a cool video. it's awesome that you could get firsthand interviews of the girls and counselors who work with the organization.

A correction: Manju Vyas is the director of the program, she did not set it up. It was set up by Mr. Sudershan Loyolka who is Apne Aap's trustee.
