Well, there seems to be a lot of data indicating climate change. More than that I don't think we can say - certainly the margin for error on current data and models is too big to say its man made. There's been a lot of climate variation in the past when there was no industry - in fact no people. The trouble is, in the modern world we are very self centred; we don't like to think that things happen are not responsible for or nor in control of. Nature is bigger than we are.
it seems to me that the wind turbine in the background can hear the conversation, it seems to be lacking the motivation to continue to rotate as it learns of its obsolescence.

Peak oil is an even weaker based hoax than Global Warming. There are vast untapped reserves of oil that we can access easily with modern technology all over the world.
Better tell that to the chief economist and the scientists/geologists working at the ultra cautious international energy agency who give a figure of 2020-2030 for peak oil at best. You do realise that at 2% growth in oil use per year that demand doubles every 35 years.

I would be interested in knowing his opinion on pollution, forests being wiped out across the planet, our polluted oceans that is resulting in toxic substances being found in our fish and other food products, the extinction of many species at an alarming rate. Monckton is spewing false propaganda. Climate cycles/oscillates warm to cool and back. Many factors contribute to climate change. Anyone who thinks massive carbon-burning isn't changing the climate in ways that can cause unnecessary hardship is ignorant or dimwitted or both. Huge cooling could come from a large volcano, but that does not disprove that human carbon-burning offsets temporary cooling to some degree.

Well, there seems to be a lot of data indicating climate change. More than that I don't think we can say - certainly the margin for error on current data and models is too big to say its man made. There's been a lot of climate variation in the past when there was no industry - in fact no people. The trouble is, in the modern world we are very self centred; we don't like to think that things happen are not responsible for or nor in control of. Nature is bigger than we are.

What the interviewr does not grasp yet is that there is a finite number of hectares of food producing land and an ever increasing number of people. When you take millions of hectares of this land out of production for bio fuels somebody goes hungry..We must curb out use of fossil fuels to conserve what remains but switching to ethanol from plants is an overzealous simplification of a complex problem. Even I, who know barely anything of the effects of increasing levels of combustion & CO2 emissions, on the ozone layer & the polar ice caps, wouldn't be intimidated by those stupid Climate-Change Fascists. EVEN FROM THEIR OWN BELIEF IN THE NEED TO INSTALL NEW SOURCES OF ENERGY THEY ACTED IRRATIONALLY! If solar energy must be used instead then why dance & chant? Putting climate change aside. I would be interested in knowing his opinion on pollution, forests being wiped out across the planet, our polluted oceans that is resulting in toxic substances being found in our fish and other food products, the extinction of many species at an alarming rate. These are things people can't deny.
Climate change may be a sham...it's possible. But what about these other issues?

If so, it would be beneficial to you to actually listen to what he was saying, which was logical and correct. It is highly unlikely that any of the ideologically driven warmists would have given a "skeptic" the time and polite attention that he gave you.

The Hilter youth were not arguing for the extermination of the Jews. Most Germans knew of persecution and kicking the Jews out of Germany back to the Holy Land (which Hitler was doing in the 30's before GB stopped them) but few of them knew of exterminating Jews, especially the youth.
This is bizarre that Monckton mentions Haiti, one month before that earthquake.

Although one might be able to compare both youths in terms of fanaticism, there are no similarities between the two. The Hitler Youth promoted morals, education, culture, skills and discipline. The Hitler Youth had NOTHING to do with exterminating Jews. Nor did any other sect of National Socialist Germany. Learn the history. NEVER was genocide promoted by the Nazis.

If the science was ' Set in Stone' (correct) there should be no reluctance to reveal how they have arrived at that conclusion.

Monckton is spewing false propaganda. Climate cycles/oscillates warm to cool and back. Many factors contribute to climate change. Anyone who thinks massive carbon-burning isn't changing the climate in ways that can cause unnecessary hardship is ignorant or dimwitted or both. Huge cooling could come from a large volcano, but that does not disprove that human carbon-burning offsets temporary cooling to some degree.
