Kevin's said they are still wild and he might be killed by one of them one day and be killed by a lion it's a bless to him. So i don't think he's doing a 'bad' thing with them as long as he said that the lions are still wild. I like to believe that this was God's plan for all of us, to live in community with all the animals. Kevin is doing it and i'm loving it! He's my inspiration to work with animals in the future.

They are fitted with contraceptives so that he isn't responsible for more maladjusted lions being bred in captivity not just to reduce costs.

White lions are not albino, they have a recessive gene. The first sightings of white lions were in Timbavati region of south africa in the 30's and they were found in their natural habitat. The white lions are not "created" by any human being, even white lions are natural offspring of the regular african lions. White lions natural habitat is in south africa. So this huge area of land is reserved for these animals, from poaching and going extinct.
Knowledge about these white lions were already exposed through various south african zoologists and by local tribe members living in that region way before this film was made. Maybe you should educate yourself by visiting the timbavati region and talking to zoologists who have been working since the 30's and also the local people who knows the long history of these animals in their natural habitat. White lions still bear slight color similarities to african lions.
Moreover, albino human beings are poles apart from their dad and mum in terms of skin color. The african lions and white lions are not that different. In africa within the human population i.e a black mom&dad has albino kid. Their kid does not display skin coloration of black as they grow up. They are still white, whereas in south afirca, white lion cubs who are born pure white display slightly normal coloration as they grow up like their african lion brothers.

It's no different than spaying or neutering your cat/dog except it isn't even permanent. Also, hyenas 'live with lions' in the wild so...what's your point? Also, it's just that one hyena living with them for some reason, the others seem to have their own enclosure/den/etc. The male is alone b/c he is aggressive you can't just toss females in there and everything work out hunky-dory.
