I placed mine out in the sun and all but 3 died. All survivors were male. Then I poured more water in the tank and another 9 sea monkeys hatched and all made it to adulthood. Now all it will take is one female sea monkey who is fertilized by a male and reproduces to produce the next generation of sea monkeys.

the first time i got sea monkeys, they started to dissapear so i did not no what is plasma 3 so i poured eveything(wrong thing to do) and they susoficated and died =( but now i bought a new tank and a sea monkey starter pack and they just hatched yesterday. Good luck with your sea monkeys =)

That looks like artemia... I feed them to fish, it never occured to me to keep them as pets.

Artemia grows in salt lakes. Very high concentrations of salts. They didnt have predators, so it is not natural for any fish to found "Artemias" just passing by, ready to be eaten. Every baby Sea-Monkey born is an Artemia saved for fish food. An opportunity to be alive! Join the club!

They'll have a pouch under their stomach.

This pouch is very noticeable and is quite huge.

And if you look closely you could see pink or clear eggs.
