why would he be lip syncing ? He already compensated for the physical strain of singing and dancing, by setting the song in a MUCH LOWER KEY, than the actual recording. and ppl still say he is lip syncing ?

It is just like the (few) thriller performances. He never sings thriller live, as high as in the recording, because that's probably to hard to do whilst dancing.

Yep he's singing LIVE here. Even if sometimes did lipsync in general his concerts were 99% LIVE. He was singing 99% LIVE unlike other "artists" who can't sing live a single note.Michael sang LIVE ACAPELLA, he sang lower notes, higher notes, he sang all kind of songs and notes. It just proves how megatalented he was.Another one like Michael will never be born again.He was unique and you'll see that his legend will live forever.Cause quality music and real artists never die.

Yeah- Mike was such a high-energy performer though, he'd be crazy to not have lipsynced every once in a while.

People tend to forget that he was 30ish when he did the Bad World Tour, and each respective tour he wasn't as young as when he did the Destiny Tour or Victory Tour. Plus he's even said that he kept wanting to make better shows, so he did more intricate choreography. If he had tried to sing every song live he probably would've passed out halfway through the show.

Probably he would have not passed out even if he would have sang every song live.The main reason why he sometimes lip synced was to protect his voice.You know when a singer, especially one like Michael who wasn't just a random singer sings every line LIVE every day, plus rehearsals and concerts he can have issues with his voice and throat.And they sometimes get sick with flu.I saw Michael's This is It documentary from his rehearsals and he said that he wants to protect his voice.

The Bad tour was the most amazing tour in history. MJ was at his prime here... amazing energy, live singing, etc. His later tours were not as good.

Actually all of his tours were amazing. He had reached artistic maturity and was just as close to perfection as one can get. Just watch his concerts in Bucharest in '92, i know it's on dvd. It was AMAZING. The one in '96 was also amazing (i was there :D:D:D). Just wanted to exemplify concerts from 'Dangerous' and 'History' tours.

The best entertainer. No question about it. The shows he pulled off - no one can match that. His talent is just unmeasurable.
