Ok this should be a fun winter, I have a new CTS-V coupe, and I live near Toronto in Canada. It just cost me 5600 for new winter rims, and winter tires for my baby.
I must admit I am still nervous about that first snow fall, the fact everyone looks at me like I am crazy when I tell them I intend to drive through the winter does not help.
Will update half way through the winter if I am still alive to do so.
My V is running just shy of 600hp with some minor mods.
Thank you for sharing this video. I just purchased a 2010 CTS-V (auto trans., previous was an '07 Escalade) and the winters here in NYC - while NOTHING compared to you guys in OH - are making me a little nervous. I am trying to decide between the Sottozero and Blizzak primarily due to my not wanting to buy new rims.
@vinnyd49 Blizzaks are awesome. I am in the same boat, I take my Corvette Z06 skiing all the time here in CO, but am thinking of trading in my Audi for a CTS-V. They don't make snow tires wide enough for my Z06, but drive carefully you shouldn't have any issues. I want something that is as fun as the Vette, but can haul 3 or 4 people skiing, so I picked the CTS-V. Narrower rims will make a difference, but depending on how much snow you get, it might not be worth the expense.
damn nice, this year they were so late with cleaning up the highways like fuccccccck. I bet you're having a blast in the CTS now the weather is so good!
OK still waiting for winter to hit, end of January and no snow just rain. And I was so looking forward to playing in the snpw with my coupe

PS - I love driving with no sound or music. :)
